ObamaCare Can Now Be Called Obamatax; Holder Gets A Pass But For How Long?; DID ATF Supervisors Retaliate Against Whistleblowers?; Egyptian Prez Wants Terrorist Released; Romney's Cash Flow Flowing; Romney Needs To Present A Health Care Plan; FactCheck: Romney Never Shipped Jobs Overseas; Misfit & Thug Occupiers Are Back; Cruise & Holmes Divorcing: Is Anyone Really Suprised?; Maher, the Bigot and Misogynist, Strikes Again

If you're an illegal immigrant in Arizona, hoping to become a citizen so you can get free healthcare, this is the greatest week of your life...Leno

  • Although Leno was joking, it's probably true. With the Supreme Court's decision this week, those 800,000-1 million illegal immigrants Pres. Obama gave amnesty will no doubt be eligible now for free health care.
  • ObamaCare can now be called ObamaTax: hear that Romney Campaign?
  • If you recall, on many occasions, Pres. Obama promised anyone earning under $250 grand would not have his/her taxes raised. Well, Brietbart examined ObamaTax and found out that there will be 7 news taxes on those earning less than $250 grand.
  • As predicted here yesterday, the Justice Department will not bring the Congressional contempt citation against Eric Holder to a federal grand jury. Nor will DOJ take action to prosecute him. As I said, he's the boss of all federal prosecutors. No way would they prosecute their own boss.  In addition, Obama asserted Executive Privilege. However, don't be surprised if Issa thinks of another strategy. For example, it was reported yesterday that records of intercepted phone calls show Holder may have withheld important information.

Obama's Bait & Switch; Access, Quality and Cost Are Losers Under ObamaCare; More Broken Promises; Few Siliver Linings

ObamaCare side effects may included swollen deficits, shortness of doctors, difficulty getting treatment, elevated tax rates and premature death...ObamaCare Jokes

  • Before I begin, a word about the economy: The economy grew by a dismal 1.9% in the first quarter of this year. And weekly first time unemployment numbers came in at 386,000.
  • Yesterday I suggested to those opposed to ObamaCare (which is a majority of Americans as evidenced by almost every poll taken in the last 3 years. I predict the number will jump as a result of the decision) to step back and take a deep breath. I also posed a lot of questions regarding the law. It's been almost 24 hours since the Court handed down its decision. It's time to take a closer look at this law.
  • First and foremost, we now know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Pres. Obama and the Democrats lied to the American people. Pres. Obama himself said in 2009 when asked if the law is a tax hike, "Absolutely not a tax increase...I reject the notion." In other words, the President used a classic "bait & switch" tactic on the American people.
  • According to The House Ways and Means Committee (responsible for tax issues) there are 21 tax increases in the law. Of those, 12 will impact on people making LESS than $250 grand. Another promise broken.
  • Whatever your opinion is of Justice Roberts, we can thank him for one thing: he peeled back the onion and showed all Americans, at the core, the law will be a huge tax increase and burden on all Americans especially small businesses. In turn, the law will more than likely be a job killer. Why? Because small companies with more than 50 employees will be required to provide coverage. In effect, many small businesses will stop hiring employees at 49.

Supreme Court Declares ObamaCare is One-Big, Fat Tax Increase; Implications of This Decision; Many Questions Need Answers; TSA is Failing; We're Safe With Obama if We Get Invaded from Space

"No, that's not true George. For us to say that you've got to take responsibility to get health insurance is absolutely not a tax increase." Pres. Obama to George Stephanopoulos in a 2009 interview.

  • Once again, Pres. Obama lied big time to the American people. Today's decision by the Supreme Court reinforces the long-held claim that ObamaCare is indeed---a huge friggin tax increase on all Americans.
  • Now, although I'm certainly not pleased with this decision, I'd counsel all those opposed to ObamaCare to take a deep breath (like I did), step back and realize the world did not end for several reasons.
  • One: Romney promised he would take steps to repeal ObamaCare. The implication, of course, is Romney needs to win in November. If not, we're f%$ked. Because this decision gives many Americans a glimpse into what another four years under Obama would be like. (Breaking News: Politico is now reporting Republicans are planning a repeal vote after the July 4th holiday. Right now, I don't see it getting by the Senate.)
  • Two: This decision by the Supremes has and will continue to fire up the Conservative base for Romney (yes, Obama's base is partying but he had those votes anyway).

Will Eric Holder Be Held in Contempt?; Charlie Rangel Wins; Obama: Panderer in Chief; Have The Dems Given Up on Human Rights?; How Low Can CNN Sink?; Madonna As You've Never Seen Her

Johnson & Johnson Introduces "Nothing But Tears" Shampoo To Toughen Up Newborns...The Onion
  • In addition to the anticipated decision by the Supreme Court on ObamaCare likely tomorrow, it appears the House is ready to cite Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt. Moreover, there are reports today in many sources that some Democrats might join the citation. According to the House Oversight Committee, Holder has refused to turn over additional documents relating to the Fast and Furious scandal.
  • Some Democrats are accusing Republicans of racism for going after Eric Holder. Keep in mind this scandal was not broken by Republicans. It was broken by an ATF agent who blew the whistle on the operation. In addition, does anyone remember Alberto Gonzales? He was Attorney General under George W. Bush. He also became the highest ranking Hispanic in government to that time. He was run out of office by Democrats at the time because he dismissed several U.S. attorneys. Does anyone remember accusing Democrats of racism then? No, because no one did.

Reactions to Supreme Court As Expected; Obama Orders Feds Not To Cooperate With Arizona; Operation Community Shield; Last Beam Set at WTC Towerk; Carter Accused Obama of Human Rights Violations

...Anyone who returns a gun (Chicago buy-back program), no questions asked, get a $100 gift certificate in return. To which Attorney General Eric Holder said, "Why didn't I think of that?"...Leno

  • Did anyone really expect the Left and Right sides of the political isle to react any differently than they did yesterday after the Court's ruling on Arizona's immigration law? Of course not. The Right, although disappointed, still reported it won on the central element of the law. Namely, the Court upheld Arizona's "show me your papers" provision (By the way, for those critics on the Left, some facts. Anytime anyone, regardless of race or ethnicity. is stopped by a cop while driving; the police always ask for our driver's license, registration and proof of insurance. In other words, they ask everyone for their "papers.") The Left, on the other hand and also a tad disappointed (because of that provision being upheld), reported they got most of the law overturned. They did.
  • The provision Section 2(B)---that was upheld by the Court---states state and local police are required to perform roadside immigration check of people they've stopped or detained if a "reasonable suspicion" exists that they are in the country illegally.
  • So what's the overall message? I don't think it's as mixed as many believe. The Court told the Feds, in no uncertain terms, you've ONE---failed in your duty on immigration and TWO---do something about it.  In fact, Judge Scalia was very clear on that point. He wrote, "...federal policies of noninforcement will leave the states helpless before those evil effects of illegal immigration."

Supreme Court Rules On Immigration; Obama & Republicans To Have Busy Week: Buckle Up The Firestorm Is About To Begin; Romney Needs To Make His Move; Vegas Oddsmaker Picks Romney To Win; Pelosi's Conspicuous Hypocrisy

...The Obama campaign spent more money than they raised in May. They spent more money than they raised? Well, that's being called a Democrat..Leno

  • Buckle up folks. It's going to be an interesting week. It's believed the Supreme Court will make a decision regarding ObamaCare and immigration enforcement. With ObamaCare everyone is awaiting a decision on the mandate that everyone must buy health insurance. With immigration, the issue is whether states---like Arizona---can enforce laws against illegal immigrants or whether that power rests exclusively with the feds. Get ready for some firestorms regardless of the outcome.

  • Breaking News Now: The Supreme Court upheld parts of the Arizona Law. I've not had a chance to read it yet. It appears the "heart" of the Arizona law has been struck down. Meaning the feds are responsible for immigration law.

Why Every American Needs To Know About Fast & Furious; The Myth of the Arab Spring; What You Need to Know About the Muslim Brotherhood; 73% of Independents Oppose ObamaCare

A House committee is recommending that Attorney General Eric Holder be cited for contempt Of  Congress. Now, don't confuse that for what you and I have. Contempt FOR Congress...Leno

  • "Fast and Furious" should concern every American (One more time as a primer: ATF knowingly sold weapons to members of Mexican drug cartels from Sept. 2009 to January 2011. Those weapons were suppose to be tracked and traced. The Justice Department and ATF lost track of those weapons. The Republicans did not blow the whistle on the failed operation. ATF special agent John Dodson did).  It's an important issue because of a set of multiple events that run counter to the very core of American values.

  • Most important and most disturbing is that two American law enforcement officers lost their lives as a result of the operation. They were killed with two of the weapons ATF failed to track. One, Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry (image above), was killed in a shootout with a Mexican gang of smugglers on Dec. 15, 2010.  Terry served in the Marine Corps and was a police officer in Lincoln Park, MI., prior to joining the Border Patrol.
