Joe Biden's List Of Issues He Finds Funny

While Ryan speaks, Biden looks like he's trying to order a drink at a bar and the bartender is ignoring him...Kelly Oxford Tweet

I normally don't post twice in one day. However, the more I thought about Slo Joe's obnoxious performance in last night's debate, I felt myself growing more angry. I also felt compelled to list those issues the Vice President of the United States found so damn funny.

Below is a sampling of what the Vice President of the United States found so funny. He found these issues so funny he almost fell out of his chair (actually, an empty chair would have more class than Slo Joe). In addition to finding these funny, he also lied about many of them.

  • Iran's nuclear program and capability

  • The murder of Ambassador Stevens and 3 American security staff. Terrorist attacks.

  • Over 23 million unemployed and underemployed Americans including historic numbers of Americans in poverty and on food stamps

  • Over $16T debt

  • Obama's Economy

  • Medicare Cuts To Seniors

  •  Now this guy is funny

Biden: A Cranky, Rambling Old Buffoon; Paul Ryan: Class; CNN: Ryan Bested Biden; Romney Pulls Ahead In Florida

This is one of the better SNL debate parodies they've ever done. Guy's doing a hilarious Biden...Stewart Mandel Tweet last night

  • As expected, both Slo Joe Biden and Paul Ryan appealed to their bases yesterday. That observation was reinforced as I surfed through the Progressive leaning networks and Fox News. But one fact is clear: Biden was aggressive (as he was probably directed to be), loud, cranky, rambling, obnoxious, laughing (and often at inappropriate times as evidenced laughing when Ryan was talking about the Libya fiasco and Iran), and condescending. He interrupted Ryan throughout the debate (according to reports today, 82 times). To me and many other viewers, Slo Joe came off as a buffoon and clown

  • On the other hand, Paul Ryan was the adult on that stage. He was reserved, measured, cool (even in the face of Biden's 82 interruptions) and was able to counter punch Slo Joe's multiple mischaraterizations on many occasions (Does anyone believe he and the administration did not know about the dangers in Libya?  They were warned on several occasions as far back as last March by on-site security personnel and Ambassador Stevens himself. You can refer to my previous two posts regarding the timeline. Even Fact Checkers today are reporting Biden contradicted what we now know). In short, Paul Ryan showed genuine class.
  • USA TODAY even admitted, "...Ryan... didn't back down and he didn't lose his cool." Peggy Noonan in the WSJ wrote, "The old man pushed, and the kid pushed back."
  • But the overall message I got out of the debate was clear: Slo Joe Biden was unable to make a case for why Americans should vote to keep him and Obama in the White House for another four years. However, he did accomplish what the Obama campaign expected him to accomplish: He raised some issues Obama failed to in his debate with Romney. As David Lapham Tweeted, "Please, Mr. Biden, lend President Obama one of your balls for the next debate." But don't lend him your brain Joe.
  • Bottom line? It all depends on how the undecided and independents viewed the debate. If the Conservatives and Progressives were the only views factored in, I believe the debate was a Push. In terms of content, it was a Push. In terms of jerk behavior, Slo Joe Biden won hands down. In fact, pollster Matt Towery said Biden will largely be rememberd for his "clown face."
  • And MSNBC actually has this guy as a host of one of their shows and critique for the debates.

  • The most current CNN poll showed Ryan bested Biden 48-44%. Yet, Wolf Blitzer declared it a tie.
  • The Tampa Bay Times Poll is reporting Romney has surged ahead of Obama in Florida, 51-44%.

Libya: State Department's Bloody Incompetence; Obama Administration's Deception; Ryan-Biden Debate; Momentum To Romney; Religion Of Peace Update

Can you believe it's only another month until we start arguing whether the election was stolen or not?...Leno

  • As I wrote yesterday, it's now clear the State Department is directly responsible for the death of Ambassador Stevens and three of his security team members. In other words, they now have American blood on their hands.
  • And this was reinforced yesterday at the testimony of State Department nitwits in front of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. Excuses and lies on top of excuses and lies. For example, testimony included, "Based on what they knew at the time." At the time? At the time, they already knew the security detail on the ground in Libya requested for more security officers at least a month BEFORE the 9/11/12 attack. At the time? At the time, they already knew that Ambassador Stevens requested additional security because of the danger. He wrote to his superiors prior to the attack: "Violent security incidents continue to take place...Host national security support is lacking and cannot be depended on to provide a safe and secure environment." (there were at least 13 attacks PRIOR to 9/11/12 either on or near the embassy. In addition, in months before the 9/11 attack, the British embassy and the Red Cross were attacked). At the time? At the time, the State Department not only knew of the dangers, but they had withdrawn at least 16 security officers in August, one month prior to the attack. At the time? At the time, the State Department knew that Eric Nordstrom, the former security chief officer for U.S. diplomats sent requests for more security and the requests were blocked by department policy. In fact, Nordstrom, sent two cables to the State Department in March and July requesting additional diplomatic security agents for Benghazi. He received no response to those cables.
  • It's now clear. The State Department has American blood its hands. In addition, the State Department and the Obama administration tried to deceive the American people by placing the blame on a non-existent film for at least 2 weeks after the attack---when they knew otherwise.
  • By the way, regarding that trailer, the Administration wanted it taken off the internet. Yet, they never requested the videos of Americans getting their heads sawed off by terrorist thugs taken off the internet.
  • Reuters News is now reporting al-Qaeda killed a U.S. Embassy employee in Yemen.
  • Oh, one more thing. The U.S. Embassy in Vienna requested over $100,000 for electric vehicle charges for their Chevy Volts. It was approved. Washington Times
  • State Department is also reporting that over 10,000 Surface to Air Missiles may be missing in Libya.

The Benghazi Scandal: Cover-up?, Incompetence & Disastrously Inept; Big Bird Gives The Bird To The Obama Campaign; Wynn Lectures Obama; Obama Sends Form Letters Of Condolence To Fallen Troops Yet Personnel Letter Of Condolence To Family Of Rapper Havey D

"The lunacy (in politics) has outstripped anything the imagination can hold." Lewis Black, comedian

  • It is now becoming increasingly clear the Obama administration and the State Department lied about the attack on our embassy in Benghazi. We now know this:
  • There were at least 13 terror attacks PRIOR to the the 9/11/12 attack on and near the embassy grounds. We now know that our security personnel (some were Green Berets) were WITHDRAWN one month PRIOR  to the attack. We now know the embassy personnel warned the administration and State Department there was a danger of an impending attack (in fact, Jihadists posted their intentions to kill embassy personnel on Facebook prior to 9/11/12). We now know embassy personnel asked for more security assistance. We now know (ABC News yesterday) that their was no rioting by the embassy prior to the attack. We now know the administration knew the attacks were NOT related to a fictitious film. Even USA TODAY has a piece today entitled, "Official: Security Concerns In Libya Were Ignored."
  • So what conclusions can we come to? The administration is either incompetent and/or disastrously inept. In addition, it's looking more like a cover-up.

Election: It's About Our National Character; Romney Takes Lead in Swing States; "Hope is not a Strategy;" MSM Reporter With Guts: CBS' Lara Logan Calls Out Administration; Sandusky Get 30 YR Minimum

In an interview, Michelle Obama said she would choose either Will Smith or Denzel Washington to play her husband in a movie. Or as Democrats put it, "Any way they can play him in a debate?"...Fallon

  • The election is about our national character. That's what a local talk show host proclaimed this morning. And he's right. This election is about liberty and freedom vs. government overreach. This election is about independence not dependence. This election is about American exceptionalism not morphing into some European type indifference and stagnation. This election is about our leaders leading from the front, not from behind. This election is about American courage instead of being perceived by our enemies as weak. This election is one of the most important elections in our lifetime. America certainly has many problems (exasperated by this administration). But in the bigger picture, America is good. It's special and it's certainly been a force for good throughout the world. Yes, on one level, Pres. Obama is right. We should look "forward." We should look forward to a nation that would be much better off with him and his cronies out of office.
  • I also raise this issue as we witnessed what occurred in Venezuela yesterday. That socialist creep, Hugo Chavez, won (our government congratulated this bum on his election win). He's already driven a country with great potential into misery, and it appears most Venezuelans want more misery (although he has a history of rigging elections). That election was on the heels of the French voting for a socialist who now will tax the rich 75%. And, as predicted here several times, many of the rich in France are booking to other countries as reporting in USA TODAY.
  • Rasmussen is reporting today that Romney has taken a lead among swing states according to his poll, 49% to Obama's 47%.
  • And Zogby is reporting that Romney is taking a lead on key issues such as national security and the economy.
  • But, as any political observer knows, the polls can turn on a dime---in either direction.

Obama's Legacy: Poverty & Hunger In America; Romney Gets Debate Bounce; Romney's Big Lead Among Independents; Big Bird Wealthier Than Romney

Sasha Obama Asks Father Why He Was Acting Like Such A Pussy During Debate...The Onion

  • Regardless of the outcome in November, there is one legacy that will trail Pres. Obama for the rest of his life: the explosion in the growth of poverty and hunger in America.  Considerable damage has already been done to the country.
  • The USDA refers to hunger as "food insecurity." As of today, 16 states have more than 15% of their residents considered having very low food insecurity. Sixteen additional states fall in the 13-15% range. The remaining states fall under 13%.
  • 20.6% of households with children have low food insecurity while a female household--with no spouse---are in the 37% range (male head, no spouse is currently almost 25%).
  • Blacks are 25% while Hispanics are 26%. Whites: 11.4%.
  • There are counties in Miss. and Alabama that are as high as 36%.
  • In 2010, Meals on Wheels Association of America delivered 241 million meals nationwide in 2010. The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) spent over $7B more in 2011 than it did in 2010.
  • Currently there are over 46 million people living in poverty in America or about 15% of the population. It's risen 28% since the beginning of the recession.
  • The Census is reporting 17 states experienced an increase in poverty rates from 2010 to 2011.
  • And the country is still 6 million jobs shy of the number of jobs that existed in 2007. Gee, who was president in 2007?
  • Gallup is now reporting Romney received a bounce from the debate.  Last week Gallup had Obama at 50% and Romney at 45%. It is now 47-47%...even.
  • Cartoon in the NY Post today blasting media bias. The reporter asks a couple this question: "Do you believe the media's polls demonstrate a bias in favor of the youthful, articulate and charismatic Barack Obama?"
  • And the Battleground Poll has Romney leading Obama among independents 51-35%, a huge margin. Obama had a similar lead over McCain in 2008 at 52-44%, a margin of 8 points.

  • The New York Daily News in a piece entitled, "Why He's Falling Apart." The piece correctly points out the Obama campaign and administration is failing in providing a compelling vision as well as his inability to defend his record (quite frankly, it's impossible. His record is a disaster). Many months ago, on this blog, I offered an opinion on why his campaign was imploding. It was clearly obvious back then.
  • The debt has increased 80% from $6.3T to over $11T during his term (it is now over $16T).
