ObamaCare's Failure Exposes The Dem's Crocodile Tears As The Media Weeps

Yesterday at the White House, Pres. Obama met with various leaders of the American Indian tribes. He promised them, "If you like your Medicine Man, you can keep your Medicine Man...Leno

  • Don't you find it absolutely pathetic that many of the same Democrats who supported ObamaCare from the very beginning and knew millions would lose their health insurance are suddenly crying crocodile tears?  Most already know of Pelosi's contemptible support ("But we have to pass the {health care} bill so that you can find out what is in it"). But Democrat Sens. like Jay Rockefeller, Harry Reid, Dick Durbin, Chuckie "Cheese" Schumer and Max Baucus were all in on the ruse (It must be pointed out that Baucus, an architect of the bill, actually referred to it as a "train wreck" two months ago). In fact, Jonah Goldberg wrote today, "When it comes to the quagmire of ObamaCare, the only liars they should be made at are the Democrats."
  • This type of behavior is nothing new for the Democrats. Prior to our invasion of Iraq in 2003, it was the Democrat leaders who actually made the case for Pres. Bush to go into Iraq.  John F. Kerry in October of 2002: "I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force-if necessary-to disarm Saddam Hussein..." Or Al Gore in Sept. of 2002: "We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country." I can list quotes from every single Democrat leader who made similar statements prior to 2003.
  • And the media doesn't get a pass either. Greg Gutfeld of The Five on Fox correctly pointed out the media embraced ObamaCare and turned a blind eye to the administration's incompetence. He also referenced Benghazi, the IRS and other scandals and reminded the media, "You built that."

All The Kings Horses And All The King's Men Couldn't Put Obamacare Together Again

"...Obama Expected To Announce That Millions Of Americans In 'Crappy' Plans And 'Substandard Policies' Can Keep Them ('till election)'" Tweet by Larry Elder

  • So, from the administration that compelled Americans to purchase Obamacare or denied insurance policies they liked, the president just announced Americans can continue the plans for 2014. Recall, these are the same plans the Obama administration said were crap or substandard (By the way, "substandard" to whom? While most Americans believe health costs are too high, most Americans liked their current insurance plans. CNN).
  • Folks, make no mistake, this was purely a political move to help Democrats in danger of losing their seats in the 2014 elections because of their support of Obamacare. It was also an announcement to appease a base he's been losing by the thousands each week. In addition, the very same Democrats who were clamoring for a fix knew---in 2010---that millions of Americans would lose their insurance plans.
  • Of course, many other questions are now being raised. For example, how do you get an insurance policy renewed that was cancelled? And even if you could renew that plan, what will the premiums now be?
  • Perhaps John Podhoretz  wrote it well in the NY Post today: "Obama needed his system to function like a well-oiled machine. But he took no steps to ensure it would, and now he's reaping the whirlwind." This is what "leading from behind" looks like. It's more proof of its obvious failure.
  • But a more important question has to also be raised. Are we to believe the numbers reported by the administration after having just witnessed their deceptions for the last three years? Obamacare is just one bead in the string of lies and deceptions from this administration and its enablers.

Obamacare Shows How Progressives Corrupt Language Rather Than Tell The Truth

Man Who Understands 8% Of Obamacare Vigorously Defends It From Man Who Understands 5%...The Onion

  • Several additional devastating reports appeared in the media this past weekend regarding ACA (Obamacare).
  • In one of the first stories, The Wall Street Journal reported that a "whopping" 40-50,000 signed up for Obamacare in the last month. The administration states that 700,000 had completed applications but didn't report how many people actually purchased the plans.
  • The other account by the Center of Medicine and reported in the NY Post this morning claims pre-existing conditions under Obamacare are actually being denied. How?  Most Obamacare plans do not include the best cancer doctors or cancer hospitals for those being treated with cancer (In fact, just last week, I reported on the large number of hospitals opting out of Obamacare, US News + World Report, Fox News). As Robert Goldberg wrote today in the NY Post, "The ugliest part of Obamacare is how it denies life-saving coverage to cancer patients."
  • The final story (final for the next few hours) included yet another undercover video by James O'Keefe (if you recall, he's the guy who busted the ACORN frauds several years ago). This time he went undercover with his video equipment to expose the burgeoning Obamacare frauds. . In short, some employees---Obamacare navigators---instructed him on how to lie on government forms when applying for Obamacare. NRO
  • All of this brings me to my main point. When the government releases its enrollment numbers this week, don't believe those numbers. Base on all the lies we've already head from this administration regarding Obamacare, why would anyone believe those numbers?
