The Knock Out Game Apparently Popular Among Holiday Shoppers

42 Million Dead In Bloodiest Black Friday Weekend On Record...The Onion

  • I'll be frank. I thought there would be more Knock Out Game stories today. I expected reports of families members taking out a can of woop-ass on the family knucklehead who thought bringing up Obamacare at Thanksgiving dinner would be a good idea (the Obama administration thought it was). I suspect it happened, but the incidents were rare. In fact, some in the media are reporting the Knockout Game is a myth. I have a suggestion for those nitwits: YouTube.
  • Thanksgiving is one of several times a year most families can get together and share time together (although more recently, it's becoming a time when family members sit around and constantly look at their cell phones). It's also a time of giving and appreciating the many blessings we have.
  • If that's the case, why do so many shoppers turn into the Taliban during the holiday shopping season? Violence is flaring up at numerous shopping venues throughout the country. The mayhem is increasingly becoming an uncontrollable virus.

This Thanksgiving Be Deeply Thankful To Our Founders And To Our Military

"Where people fear the government you have tyranny.  Where the government fears the people you have liberty. " Thomas Jefferson

While we're thankful for our families and friends during this Thanksgiving season, it's important to remember we should also be thankful for the brave men and women who founded this country as well as those who fought (and to continue to fight) to protect it.

In domestic policy, it was our Founders who warned us about an encroaching and overbearing political class. With threats from outside our borders, it's been our military standing and fighting  at the gates of freedom and liberty.

Perhaps there's no better way to honor these brave men and women than to show them in their images and own words---

(Couldn't help myself with the quote above)

In The Spirit Of Thanksgiving Offer Absolution To Obama Supporters Or Just Play The Knockout Game

Happy Birthday to Vice President Joe Biden who turned 71 years old today. Biden wore a party hat, carried balloons and ate cake for lunch. So he was especially happy when they told him it was also his birthday...Fallon

  • You may have already heard the news the Obama administration is asking Obamacare supporters to plug the law when visiting family and friends over Thanksgiving. Quite frankly, that might be the dumbest request made by this administration in the last 5 years.
  • I was listening to the local talk-show this morning. The host offered another suggestion. I'm offering it here because it just might be the one of the best I've heard since the ACA law was passed. Instead of listening to some misguided Obamacare family member or friend try to convince you the law is a good one, offer them absolution instead---for being so stupid.
  • In fact, in addition to the absolution for still supporting Obamacare, extend that absolution to them for their continued support of 5 years of failed Obama administration policies.

The Iran Deal Lays Open America's Spineless Foreign Policy; Greece: The Insanity Of Dependence On Big Government

Pentagon Officials Fear Iran May Be Secretly Developing It's Own Version Of "The Amazing Race."...The Onion

  • Let's be clear and honest. You know and I know that many Americans have absolutely no interest in Iran as well as in foreign policy. For example, Good Morning America's tweets this morning were largely focused on the AMA's from last night (I actually watched a few minutes of the show between Sunday Night Football commercials. It's fun peering into the day room of a mental health facility on occasion). Too many Americans have more interest in the size of Kim Kardashian's big, fat ass than what happens in foreign policy.
  • Perhaps those are the smart ones. After all, foreign policy can be a tad dull. But that should not be the case with anything to do with Iran considering Iran is "the most active state sponsor of terrorism" in the world today (Brookings Institute). In fact, many of our own troops were killed by weapons Iran supplied to Afghanistan and Iraqi terrorists.
  • This weekend the Obama administration hailed the deal made with Iran. Iran allegedly agreed to curb their nuclear activity. The operative word is "curb." In other words, they didn't agree to stopping their program. Keep in mind, this is the same Obama administration that was poised to go to war with Syria several months ago (recall Obama's "Red Line" blunder?). The agreement regarding Syria allowed Assad to remain in power. This is the same Assad who gets weapons from Iran.
  • Even CNN had to admit today that this agreement does NOT stop Iran's nuclear weapons program. It merely slows it down for only six months (what is it about this administration's love affair with kicking cans down the road anyway?). While The Washington Post pointed to some good elements of this deal such as daily inspections by the International Atomic Energy Agency even they had to admit there are both bad and ugly aspects in this deal.  For example, they point out to the six-month life span of the agreement as well as Iran potentially reneging on the deal (they have a bad habit of reneging on deals).
