"All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others." George Orwell, "Animal Farm."
- In the summer of 2012, progressive bigots took the CEO of Chick fil A to task for his support of traditional marriage. At the time, even Pres. Obama was "evolving" regarding gay marriage (he conveniently changed his mind in support of gay marriage when he realized he needed more campaign funds from his gay supporters).
- This past December, Phil Robertson was taken to task for his views on homosexuality. He was subsequently suspended for a shot period of time. A+E realized the revenue that they were losing---hence the reinstatement. Just like revenue, ratings can also prove too be a powerful bullet proof vest. At the time, Andrea Peyser of the NY Post wrote: "The network essentially defended the bruised feelings of the homosexual industrial complex." Even Camille Paglia, one of the nation's leading lesbian feminist, called the suspension as "utterly fascists and utterly Stalinist."

- History among progressive bigots repeated itself yet again this week. Brendan Eich, now former CEO of Mozilla (the tech company behind Firefox browser), was forced to step down. About 6 years ago, Eich donated $1000.00 in the support of Prop 8, the California proposition that supported traditional marriage between a man and woman (the Prop passed overwhelmingly by the people to only be overturned in court). He was allegedly outed by some of his own employees.
- As I wrote recently about progressives, they create their own reality when it comes to anything having to do with free speech, faith, tolerance (in their case, intolerance) and the Constitution. That claim was supported by the company's own posting regarding Eich's sudden departure: "Mozilla believes both in equality and freedom of speech (as long as you agree with them---me)...Our organizational culture reflects diversity and inclusiveness (as long as you agree with them...me). Say what?
- We will continue to witness bigotry by progressives compounded by their conspicuous intolerance of free speech, people of faith and the Constitution. Just as disturbing, they will also continue to profit from their own intolerance and divisiveness. We see this played out every hour of every day in the media and by Hollywood.
Whatever the story here, the idea that the U.S. Army has to call 911 when their bases are attacked is flat-out insane...Tweet by David Burge

- Regarding yesterday's incident at Ft. Hood, it's much too early to come to any conclusions. Speculating is a waste of time until all the evidence has been collected and assessed.
- What we do know from the 2009 attack at Ft. Hood by Nidal Hasan is that political correctness played a huge part prior to and after the attack where 13 were killed and about 32 were injured. To this very day, that attack has been designated an act of "nonpolitical workplace violence." This designation remains even though Hasan himself referenced religion and war. At his trial, he said, "Evidence will show I was on the wrong side of America's war, and I later switched sides." In fact, prior to the attack, the FBI knew Hasan was communicating with known terrorist leader al-Awlaki.
- And yesterday, we were exposed to yet more evidence of government cover-up. The CIA's former deputy director, Mike Morell, said he deleted references to terrorism warnings in the disputed talking points regarding the attack on our consulate in Benghazi.
- If you listened or watched his testimony before the House Intelligence Committee, it was clear he was inconsistent, evasive and perhaps even deceitful a fact that should surprise no one considering those are the characteristics of every intelligence officer anyway.
- For example, Morell said the CIA knew that some of the attackers were affiliated with al-Qaeda yet he deleted references to al-Qaeda in the talking points, the same talking points that were later used by then U.S. Ambassador to the UN, Susan Rice when she appeared on several Sunday news-talk shows.
- Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer also made this observation: "When Clapper {Director of National Intelligence} was asked who changed the al-Qaeda reference {in previous testimony}, Clapper said he didn't know. Morell was sitting right there..." In other words, Morell know Clapper was giving Congress misleading testimony.
- Even Sharyl Attkisson, the former CBS reporter who did outstanding work on Benghazi, noted it was unclear "why federal officials seemed so confused and provided some much contradictory information about how the talking points evolved."

- Morell also denied he was protecting Hillary Clinton {then Secretary of State} for political benefit. And that raises several other concerns. For those who are not in the know, Morell is affiliated Beacon Global Strategies. Last week, Fox News reported that Beacon Global Strategies is a haven for former ex-government executives including advisers to the Clintons.

The prez accused the GOP of not wanting Americans to have health insurance. He just forgot he caused 6 million to lose their insurance...Jay Carnie Tweet

- In the past, I've referred to ObamaCare as an illusion, a mirage---it's there but it's really not there. The numbers that came in yesterday---at just over 7 million enrollees---has not changed my assertion. In fact, it reinforced it. As stated in numerous reports, including on this blog, we still don't know how many people actually paid for their policy yet. Again, as Jay Carnie (not the real Jay Carney, the WH spokesperson) also Tweeted yesterday: The number will be available to us the very moment it's no longer embarrassingly low.
- So let's unveil some numbers that are absolutely embarrassing. If you recall, the primary mission of ObamaCare (ACA) was to insure the millions who did not have health insurance. In 2012, that number was about 47 million (Kaiser Family Foundation). That was two years after the law was signed. Yet, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) reported there will be at least 30 million American uninsured even after the law is fully implemented. In addition, Politifact, as well as Washington Post's Fact Checker, reported that Pres. Obama's claim that Medicaid expansion has bought health care to 7 million who never had access before is a bold-faced lie. In fact, WaPo gave that claim 4 Pinocchio's, their highest rating.
- Forbes summed it up very well recently. They wrote: "At the end of the day, we appear to have covered 1 in 8 uninsured, but to get to this point, we've disrupted coverage for millions, increased premiums for tens of millions and amplified pain even further with a blizzard of new taxes and fees..."
Sidebar Follow-Up:

- When Pres. Obama was first elected, I asked my readers not to pay as much attention to him as to the people he hires. It became increasingly clear many of his hires were full-blooded progressives including at least one self-avowed Socialist. The same can be said for the new Mayor of NYC, Bill de Blasio {His attacks on Charter Schools in NYC were attacks on poor children. He kind of reminded me of the late Gov. George Wallace of Alabama who blocked black students from entering schools in the old South).
- Several months ago, I wrote a piece on his supporters including some in his administration. Well, it didn't take long for another story to appear. As the NY Post wrote last week: "This is what passes for 'community relations' in Mayor de Blasio's New York." Mayor de Blasio quietly hired as his new co-director of community affairs in Brooklyn a real doozy. Her name is Kicy Motley. During her tenure in de Blasio's campaign last year, she sent out Tweets like this: "There's a part of me rooting for #Dorner {he was the ex-LAPD cop who went on a wild shooting spree last year in Southern CA}. This racist, imperialist country gets the best of people sometimes..." She also Tweeted of the NYPD after they shot someone: "F--k. The Police."
- As I've stated many times in the past, for progressives, their ideology trumps love of country. In addition, they can also be dangerous.
The bad news is we won't have enough signed up for ObamaCare. The good is: We'll just say we do...Jay Carnie Tweet

- The all-out push to sign up Americans for ObamaCare is taking place as I'm writing this post even as the web site crashed again today. Over 20,000 navigators nationwide are working feverishly to get to the all important number of 7 million enrollees (as set by the Obama administration last year but denied last month by its surrogates).
- But if there is one conspicuous lesson most Americans have learned in the past several years, it's this: we cannot believe any numbers or stats that come out of this administration.
- We've also learned that ObamaCare is more of a hoax and a mirage. It's a law that's there but really isn't there considering the countless number of delays and extensions the Obama administration mandated since the law took effect last October.
- In addition to the delays, the enrollment numbers do not include the number of people who have actually paid their first insurance premium. In fact, only 10% of uninsured Americans who qualify for ObamaCare exchange plans are signing up (McKinsey + Co. consultants). Just as embarrassing, it appears only about 25% of those between the ages of 18 and 35 years of age have enrolled as of late March. Even Health and Human Services admitted they need about 35% of this demographic to sign up for the law to be successful (meaning sustainable because the young will be subsidizing older Americans and those who have health problems).

- It also appears ObamaCare is actually hurting those in need of treatments for specific serious health issues such as MS, cancer or Parkinson's. Betsy McCaughey, who has written extensively on ObamaCare in the last several years, pointed out that many ObamaCare plans don't cover many medications needed by people with MS {"How ObamaCare Slaps The Sick'}. ObamaCare exchanges are also making it difficult for many patients to find doctors (remember, about 5-6 millions have already lost their healthcare under ObamaCare mandates). For more information on the ObamaCare casualty list, I urge you to check out my Sept. 20, 2013 post entitled, "The ObamaCare Casualty List Grows." Obviously, the casualties have increased markedly since that piece was posted.
- So, as we enter April tomorrow, understand many Americans will be assaulted by one of the worst April Fool's pranks in American history: ObamaCare.
