Yo Eric! We Are Going To Go There You Pompous Ass

Eric Holder said, "Don't go there" out of habit. He usually says the same thing to JD investigators looking into Obama scandals...Jay Carnie Tweet

  • Those who follow me regularly know I take no political prisoners. Whether it's Harry Reid the most miserable prick in Congress to John F. Kerry, a back-stabbing fake, phony and fraud to Hillary Clinton to many spineless Republicans, they are all fair game.
  • So it probably will come as no surprise that AG Eric Holder will require some of my attention today.  During a House Judiciary Committee hearing earlier this week, he responded to questioning by Rep. Louie Gohmert of Texas with this: "You don't want to go there buddy. You don't want to go there, okay?"

  • After his appearance in front of the committee, he spoke to Al Sharpton's National Action Network and---to no one's surprised---whined and threw out the race card complaining about his treatment by the committee. Now keep in mind, he spoke to the National Action Network. This is the same organization that owed almost $2 million in back taxes and penalties. In fact, in December of 2012, The New York Post reported Al Sharpton owed the IRS $2.6 million in back taxes and almost $900,000 in state taxes. In other words, as the Justice department today under Holder has failed to follow-up on the current IRS scandals that targeted largely conservative groups, he was speaking in front of an organization that owed millions in back taxes. And just to let you know, Pres. Obama is headlining the NAN's national conference this week.
  • Eric Holder also complained that no other Attorney General has been treated as poorly as he has. I have just one name for Holder: Alberto Gonzales. He was AG under George W. Bush and was vilified by the Democrats. Gonzales was the highest ranking Hispanic in our government at the time. Yet, no one to my knowledge accused Democrats of racism.
  • So let's continue going there Eric. With Fast and Furious, your department was responsible for losing track of over 2000 weapons that ended up in the hands of the most vile drug cartels on the planet. At least one of those weapons were found at the murder scene of slain Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry. Or how about spying on the Associated Press? Or monitoring Fox News Reporter James Rosen's activities? Or not pursuing voter intimidation tactics by the New Black Panther Party during the 2008 election in Philadelphia? Or being held in contempt by Congress for failing to provide documents the committee requested regarding the Fast and Furious operation?

  • The fact is any other U.S. Attorney General with this kind of deceitful and self-righteous background and behavior would have been impeached or fired by now. But wait---you're covered in black bubble wrap. My bad. That explains everything. Just ask Charlie Rangel.

Pres. Obama, Hillary Clinton + John F. Kerry: The Faces Of Failure, Defeat + Appeasement

"The good news: Some of President Obama's threats still strike fear in their targets' hearts. The bad: It's not the heart of America's enemies..." Benny Avni, NY Post Middle East columnist

  • Not long ago, I wrote a piece about the failures of our foreign policy. I later corrected that piece to claim we actually have no foreign policy.
  • During Hillary Clinton's tenure as Secretary of State, the best that could be said during her time in that Office was she traveled a lot and met with key players on the geo-political ball field. That's like saying Joe is a great salesperson because he drove 500 miles today, met with several clients but didn't sell a damn thing.
  • But even Trudy Rubin of the Philadelphia Inquirer (not exactly a right-of-center publication) wrote this: "Clinton produced no diplomatic breakthroughs nor any new strategic doctrine...She has no major foreign policy success." Jennifer Rubin of the Washington Post later wrote: "Where is the record of accomplishment, let alone greatness?" As she traveled throughout the world getting praise and awards from the hordes of genuflecters , we watched as Egypt slipped into the chains of the Muslim Brotherhood and Syria started to implode. By the way, her tenure as Senator from NY State wasn't much better. Gov.track.us reported her record of accomplishment as Senator as trifling. In addition, she missed about 10% of her votes. The average is about 2% among Senators.

  • And then another fake, phony and fraud (in his case, back-stabbing fraud) entered the world of American geo-politics. His name? John F. Kerry. This guy grabbed the baton from Hillary and proceeded to lose more races. In the last year, he's carried through with employing Pres. Obama's vision. Namely, as pointed out by the Washington Post's editorials board: "President Obama has led a foreign policy based more on how he thinks the world should operate than on reality." In the last five years, the Obama administration has been able to use its red line, not against our enemies, but against our own prestige, influence, security, and military strength (as evidenced by Hagel recommending we cut our military forces to the level prior to WWII).

Pope Francis Fires A Missile Across The Bow Of Progressives

Pope To Reduce His Twitter Followers' Time In Purgatory...The Onion

  • After Pope Francis took over the Papal throne more than a year ago, progressives believed they had an advocate in the Vatican for all of their progressive-secular beliefs such as abortion and same-sex marriage. He appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone.  Even The Advocate, the LGBT publication, announced Pope Francis as their "Person of the Year." The LGBT community was impressed with the Pope's statement regarding gays when he said, "If someone is gay and seeks the Lord with good will, who am I to judge?" Shortly thereafter, he gave in interview to an Italian publication expressing the possibility of the Church recognizing civil unions for gays and lesbians. The door to civil unions was finally cracked open with those comments as they should have been much earlier (clearly, my opinion).
  • In the beginning, one could understand their euphoria. After all, Pope Francis was criticized by some on the Right for his pronouncements about Capitalism and the Free-Market. He made some comments about the negative effects of consumerism and economic inequality (what he clearly meant was that free markets alone cannot create economic growth). He chose not to reside in the papal palace but instead chose the Vatican guest house. They were even infatuated with his riding around in a Ford Focus rather than the papal limo. That was followed by the decision of the Pope to create a commission on sex-abuse policy (long overdue in my opinion and the opinion of most Catholics).
  • But what all of these folks on the Left failed to understand is that Pope Francis simply reinforced long held Catholic belief and theology. Catholics have always been concerned about the marginalized within their communities including the LGBT community. Catholicism has long preached inclusion . In fact, Christ preached a Gospel of inclusion. Concern for those in poverty has been held in high regard by the Church for centuries even as their own hierarchy was occasionally entrenched with their own corruption and greed (a trait common to most hierarchies as evidence by almost every political system on earth since the beginning of human history. Christ was a victim of such corruption). In many respects, the Catholic Church has long been both conservative and liberal but never in-between.  While redistribution of wealth has not been a radical notion for the Catholic Church, empowerment of the individual---free from overreaching government intrusion---has long been held in high esteem by most Catholics. Again, one simply has to revisit the Gospels to see how Christ himself dealt with government overreach and the price he paid for his response to government corruption.

Obama's Millennial Supporters: They Squeezed The Fruit But Didn't Get Any Juice

Pres. Obama is brewing his own beer at the White House. Actually, the White House beer is a lot like the Obama administration: great buzz, weak finish...Leno last year.

  • Before I begin my main thoughts, I want to give you an update. As my readers know, I've been taking NYC Mayor de Blasio and his progressive administration to task since he was elected mayor. From his war on charter schools (war on poor children) to many of his supporters (current NYC Speaker who lobbied on behalf of domestic terrorists), now comes this latest news. NYC Councilman Jumanne Williams wants the NYPD to stop arresting people who commit "minor" crimes in the subway systems. His minor crimes include drinking alcohol and public urination. Williams also said "an arrest can cause significant stress" to a criminal. Now folks, I grew up in NYC (Manhattan + the Bronx). I had the displeasure of having to take the subways on countless occasions. I can tell you from personal experience all kinds of human filth travel on that subway system. And if the disgusting behavior is not stopped in its tracks (pun intended), it continues. Note to Councilman Williams: what would you do to a piece of dirt who pulls out his privates to take a leak in front of a child let alone other commuters?  No wonder many in NYC believe the city is plunging into progressive hell once again.
  • It appears even Millennials are getting the message.  As the NY Post pointed out recently, the voter turnout for Obama by Millennials (those under 30) was huge. Most polls now show that Millennial support for Obama has evaporated.  And there appears to be very good reason for the plunge in ratings. When labor-force participating is included in their total unemployment rate, it reaches almost 16%. For Hispanics sit now stands at just a tad more than 16% and a pitiful 24% for Blacks (that rate jumps more than two-fold in many urban areas).  Just as disturbing, almost 2 million Millennials are not even counted because they've just given up looking for work.
