What If A Republican Did What Hillary Clinton Did?---Mon Dieu!

Southern Accent: Fake
Hair Color: Fake
Finances: Fake
Laugh: Fake
Greed For Money and Power: Real...Razor's Tweet re: Hillary Clinton

In my previous post, I took Republicans to task for being spineless cowards. While I believe that's accurate, the fact is they face a progressive onslaught from most corners of the media, culture and the political class.

So that got me to thinking. What if a Republican (or a conservative) did what Hillary Clinton did? For example:

  • Imagine a Republican candidate for president who actually uses accents geared toward their specific audience kinda like Hillary Clinton does almost all the time.
  • Imagine a Republican candidate for president who rails against income inequality while charging $200-300k for one 90 minute speech kinda like Hillary Clinton does almost all the time.
  • Imagine a Republican candidate proclaiming he/she deleted 30,000 emails from a private server he/she used as Secretary of State kinda like Hillary Clinton did.
  • Imagine a Republican candidate for president who denounces many corporations for not paying women the same salary as men when Hillary Clinton paid the women in her office 72 cents to each dollar paid to men.
  • Imagine a Republican candidate whose husband set up a "shell" corporation to channel his payments for fuzzy consulting work kinda like Hillary's husband Bill.
  • Imagine a Republican candidate for president insisting he/she has nothing to hide and then it's uncovered he/she forgot to report $26M in foreign donations to its foundation kinda like Hillary Clinton did.
  • Imagine a Republican candidate for president hiding from the press for almost a month and not taking any questions from the press kinda like Hillary Clinton did.
  • Imagine a Republican candidate for president who ran a foundation that sold one of the largest uranium mining companies to Russia like Hillary Clinton did.
  • Imagine a Republican candidate for president who ran a foundation but neglected to disclose many of its donors like Hillary Clinton did.
  • Imagine a Republican candidate for president who could not name one major accomplishment during his/her tenure kinda like Hillary Clinton did when she was Secretary of State.
  • Imagine a Republican candidate for president making the false claim he/she had to dodge enemy fire in a war zone kinda like Hillary Clinton did.
  • Imagine a Republican candidate for president who was responsible for overseeing our foreign policy as it turned to sh!t under his/her tenure kinda like Hillary Clinton's tenure as Secretary of State.
  • Imagine a Republican candidate who was responsible for security of American diplomats who were murdered by the enemy because of the lack of security and then lying about it kinda like Hillary Clinton did with Benghazi.
In fact, especially when finances are involved, we don't have to imagine. Mitt Romney was taken to task in the last presidential campaign for his finances.

So try to imagine, if you will, what a presidency would be like under Hillary Clinton.

Republicans: Still Remain An Illusion, A Mirage And More Disturbing: Spineless Cowards

Republicans Stalling Obama's Agenda By Speaking, Moving In Slow Motion...The Onion

In the past five years or more, I've asserted the Republican Party remains a spineless and feckless party of chumps. Conservatives like myself know this. But do Republicans? Also, those readers who read my work on a regular basis know I take on progressives---from both parties.

In November of 2010, Republicans took back the House. In November of 2014, they won both the House and Senate for the first time in eight years. By all accounts, it was a landslide. At the time, I even wrote a piece asking: "Do Republicans Know They Won A Landslide Election?" But if we conservatives look around at the current political environment, the answer to that question appears to be an unqualified NO!

Oh! On occasion, John Boehner, the Speaker of the House, will grasp a microphone and at least appear to be somewhat angry and upset at the latest Obama administration clusterf*ck. But Boehner always reminds me of that guy in the bar who needs to take a few stiff drinks to get up any courage. And when he does, he staggers off the stool, yells at someone for a moment and goes back to throw back more Jacks.

We know conservative principles win elections. A casual political observer doesn't even have to go as far back as the great Ronald Reagan to see that. Gov. Scott Walker comes immediately to mind holding back a progressive onslaught three times in a row. But today, Republicans are stuck with the spineless leadership of both  Boehner and Mitch McConnell, the Senate majority leader. He replaced that nutty little man, Harry Reid.

Keep in mind, this is the same Republican Party that lost an election in 2012 to an incumbent who had a disastrous first term record as president. This is the same Republican Party who proclaimed they will end Obamacare. We still have Obamacare. This is the same Republican Party who allows its opposition to run roughshod over them when it comes to the issue of illegal immigration. This is the same Republican Party who promised to roll back many of the Obama administration's warped policies. It hasn't. In other words, it's a Republican Party that lacks any leaders with guts, determination and leadership. They're wimps and chumps. And, as a conservative, I have very little confidence they can---or even have the will---to try to save this Republic.

Once again, their behavior reminds me of a quote by David Burge last year when he wrote: "The greatest trick the devil ever played was convincing me I had quarters in my ears or maybe that was grandpa."

The Presstitutes In The Media Interrogate Republicans About Iraq---But Democrats? Not So Much

"@TheDemocrats. What the living fuck is wrong with you." David Burge and his Tweet about Democrats Memorial Day Tweet showing an image of Mr. Obama eating an ice cream cone.

Unless you missed it, Bob Woodward of Watergate fame reported last week that George W. Bush didn't lie about WMD's to justify the war in Iraq. In fact, Bush even demanded that his staff not "stretch" the truth about WMD's in Iraq. Of course, it was revealed that every intelligence agency on earth, including ours and the UN, believed Iraq had WMD's.

That report got me to thinking. If you've been following the campaign news in the last month, you've seen and heard the media pressing Republicans with this question: "Knowing what you know now, would you again vote and support George W. Bush in the invasion of Iraq?"

Unfortunately and by design, the presstitutes in the media have not been asking Democrats---including Hillary Clinton and John F. Kerry---the same question. So allow me to take a few moments to ask the following the very same question after you read what they said prior to our invasion of Iraq.

  • "Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein...the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real."...J. F. Kerry, Jan. 23, 2003.
  • "In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuilt his chemical and biological weapons stock...and his nuclear program...I cast {my vote for the war} with conviction." The then Sen. Hillary Clinton, Oct. 10, 2002.
  • "We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction." The late Sen. Ted Kennedy, Sept. 27, 2002.
  • "We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country." Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002.
  • "Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region..." Nancy Pelosi,  Dec. 16, 1998.
  • "We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction." Pres. Bill Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998.
You get the picture. And there are literally countless quotes like this from Democrats prior to our engaging Saddam Hussein in 2003.

So what can be the reason why the presstitutes are suddenly interested in asking only Republicans this question? There's only a few. One---to distract voters from the every growing scandals associated with Hillary Clinton. In other words, to protect her and to destroy any Republican who will run against her. In addition, the question is also meant to protect Mr. Obama from the very real fact that his actions in the last several years gave rise to ISIS.

And the other is to put only Republicans on the defensive even though Democrats also exerted pressure on G.W. Bush to invade Iraq. And while Republicans should have been ready for this question, it clearly shows the bias---once again---of the main stream media.

There's nothing left to say other than it's what we should expect from the presstitutes in the press for the next 18 months.
