Hillary Clinton Evolves In Her Flip-Flops

Dude Benghazi was a long time ago but let's have a national debate about a battle flag from the Civil War...Razor

The presstitutes in the media who continually cloak Hillary Clinton (and Obama) in bubble wrap are so damn predictable. And the hypocrisy came to light yet again regarding the debate over illegal immigration and sanctuary cities.

As I've written before, I have no problem giving sanctuary to people who have been truly oppressed or in danger of brutality including being killed. But as the most recent incident in San Francisco proved, the intent of sanctuary cities has been perverted and corrupted in recent years. Many sanctuary cities (and there are about 200 nationwide) are now giving sanctuary to illegal immigrants who also have either criminal records or backgrounds. In fact, many have been deported on several occasions as shown by the alleged murderer in the San Francisco shooting last week.

And then there's Hillary Clinton. As recently as a little more than 10 years ago, she said: "I am, you know, adamantly against illegal immigration." She added, "We've got to do more at our borders. And people have to stop employing illegal immigrants." In my opinion, she was right then. But, as the media likes to point out about any progressive, she evolved (actually flip-flopped). This week she rebuked Republicans on immigration. She actually said, "They don't want to provide a path to citizenship." I wonder if she included Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio in that denunciation? In fact, at one time, she even said, "As president, I will not support driver's licenses for undocumented people." She "evolved" from that position too.

But her "evolving" didn't end there. With same-sex marriage, she said in 2014, "I fully endorse the efforts by activists who work state-by-state." In other words, her preference---at the time---was to leave the decision of same-sex marriage up to the states. A position I even supported. But she flipped and flopped on that issue too.

Oh, and when it comes to the controversy over the Confederate flag and the Confederacy, she and Bill Clinton (as First Lady and Gov of Arkansas) actually honored the Confederacy with a special proclamation.

These are just a few examples of many that clearly show Hillary Clinton is devoid of any core values. It's also one of the reasons why she's not considered trustworthy by a majority of Americans (Quinnipiac polls of six swing states (CO, VA, Iowa, FL, PA and Ohio).

It's clear she's a populist for purely political reasons and for convenience. She's not much different than most other politicians. But as the NY Post was inclined to ask recently: "It's whether she really believes anything at all."

Postscript: Since this was posted, it appears Clinton did have "classified" emails on her personal server contrary to what she said just a few months ago. Initially, DOJ reported the referral to them was "criminal" in nature. That's been walked-back. Instead, they are now investigating her alleged transmission of classified information.

Also, Clinton flip-flopped on the trade deal (The Trans Pacific Partnership). Previously, she had called it the "gold standard" of trade deal. She also just flipped on supporting a $15.00 minimum wage.  She never did.

Progressive Apologists Have Blood On Their Hands

President Obama has normalized relations with Communist Cuba and hopes to someday normalize relations with Texas...WH Press Secretary (satire)

Progressive have long had a lust for blood. This claim is undeniable. On July 4, 2014, Chicago recorded 14 dead as a result of 82 shootings. This past July 4th weekend, Chicago reported 62 people shot resulting in 10 deaths. Chicago has been a bastion of progressive politics for many decades. In Philadelphia this past weekend, 4 people were shot and killed. The last time Philadelphia had a Republican mayor WWII was still raging. No need to list any other cities run by progressives because the pattern is much the same.

Unleashing misery, violence and death upon the nation has long been a hallmark of the progressive movement. In the 1960's and into the '70's, progressive domestic terrorist groups ran amok leaving dozens of innocent dead in their wake. It was Bill Clinton who commuted the sentences of 16  Marxist-Leninist FALN members. In just one of many attacks inside the U.S., they were responsible for the killing of 4 people and injuring 50 in a bombing in NYC.

In addition to domestic terrorists, race-baiting, fire-brands like Al Sharpton have a long history of turning a blind eye to the the outcomes of their incendiary  rhetoric. Just late last year, we witnessed anti-police marches where marchers chanted "What do we want? Dead cops. When do we want it? Now." The result was two NYPD police officers were ambushed and murdered.

We're also witnessing how warped political correctness and progressive ideology toward illegal immigrants is getting Americans killed. Earlier this week, a woman was fatally shot by an illegal immigrant in San Francisco, a sanctuary city---a city giving sanctuary to criminals. He had a lengthy criminal record and had already been deported five times. He was just one of many.  Ramsey Yousef, the mastermind of the first attack upon the World Trade Center, was granted asylum as were the Tsarnaev brothers.

It should be of no surprise to anyone that the Obama administration is normalizing relations with Communist Cuba. In 2009, a delegation of the Congressional Black Caucus paid a visit to Castro in Cuba. Several members praised Castro. In fact, Rep. Bobby Rush (D-Ill) actually said of the the meeting with Castro, "It was like listening to an old friend." This "friend" has long been a murdering dictator.

Bill de Blasio, the current progressive mayor of NYC, honeymooned in Cuba. In the 1980's, he supported the Marxists Sandinistas in Nicaragua. Michael Goodwin of the NY Post wrote it best: "He's (de Blasio) a member of the 'blame America first club.' The kind that doesn't understand the fuss over Jane Fonda or why it's not okay to sport Che T-shirts."

Progressive have long had a zest for bullying those who do not agree with their warped ideology. In the last six years, we've watched as the progressive political class waged bogus war upon women, upon conservatives (including female and black conservatives or both) and upon people of faith. Nowhere was this more in evidence than the Obama administration siccing the IRS upon conservative groups.

And then there are the progressive apologists for Islamist. At yesterday's presser at the Pentagon, Mr. Obama actually said: "Ideologies are not defeated by guns. They're defeated by better ideas. " Perhaps this delusional president needs a history lesson. The Revolutionary War was won by guns. WWI was won by using guns. WWII was won by guns. Guns used by professional soldiers saved our Republic and saved the lives of Americans. But as Razor pointed out in his Tweet yesterday when it comes to War vs. ISIS---it's to be won with thought bubbles.

Or perhaps we should leave all of this to Michelle Obama who actually believed hashtag diplomacy would stop Boko Haram kidnapping and slaughtering innocents. But then again, it was Hillary Clinton's own State Department that refused to label these homicidal maniacs terrorists. And, of course, there was Benghazi.

Progressives have long had blood on their hands.

And now we know Hillary Clinton and company have blood on their hands----Benghazi Report

The Greeks Just Sailed Into The Perfect Storm---Will We?

Greece is a drowning man that votes "no" to a life preserver because he doesn't want to admit he can't swim...Razor's Tweet

I had the privilege and good fortune to be stationed at the Air Force base outside Athens, Greece, in the early 1970's. (It's now closed.)  Quite frankly, I thought I died and ended up in heaven. The weather was beautiful throughout most of the year. The landscape was breathtaking. The sea was dazzling. The women were gorgeous. And the Greek people were exceedingly kind and friendly. They also loved to "party down."  A young guy like me at the time couldn't ask for more.

So I find what is happening in Greece today both sad and disturbing. Nevertheless, even 40 years ago, the writing was already on the wall. The "good life" they were enjoying in the last several decades would eventually come with a price and a cost. Greece is facing an unsustainable debt to the tune of almost 900% of their GDP. And now the creditors are knocking on Greece's door. The Greeks allowed their government to grow too damn big while it's spending was completely out of control. In addition, generous pensions are unsustainable. A whole host of tax evaders as well as corrupt politicians have been playing a dangerous game for years. One glaring example: On the island of Zakynthos, 20% of the population were registered as legally blind. They were entitled to $400/month in disability pensions. But of the almost 700 considered blind, 500 were not. One included a taxi driver (61 of those considered blind were driving their cars) and another a bird hunter.  Just as striking, 40,000 pensions were being collected by people who were already dead. (NY Post). The Daily Mail (UK) reported that of 11 million people only 5000 said they earned more than $100,000 a year.

In the face of all of this and more, the Greek people voted "no" to a life-line that was thrown to them. They voted no to more austerity plans that were demanded of them by their creditors in the form of more taxes and cutting generous pensions.  In fact, Greece owes about $4B Euros (or $3.5B) that is due by July 20, 2015. As all of this is going on, Greek banks are closed concerned they will run out of money. ATM withdrawals are limited to about $60/day.

It's too early to tell what the final outcome will be for Greece and the global economic market. But one fact is clear. We've also been living beyond our means. When unfunded liabilities (Medicare and Social Security) are thrown into the mix, our real debt is closer to $100T not the $18T now posted.  We've also watched as our own government has grown out-of-control along with additional tax mandates. And while our spending is just about 21% of GDP, it is expected to grow significantly in the coming years. Moreover, Greece is yet another example of failed socialist policies. Too much dependency on a government can---like Greece---turn into a tragedy for everyone. Or as Margaret Thatcher famously said---eventually you run out of other people's money.
