GOP Debate: CNBC - H. Clinton Operatives - Exposed Themselves As Media Presstitutes

Only 2 minutes into the GOP debate and the mainstream media declares Hillary the winner...WH Press Secretary Tweet (satire)

In my post yesterday, I wrote that the Republican Party is no longer the opposition party. While I still believe that to be true (why would the RNC even agree to have such conspicuously bias and arrogant debate moderators anyway?), there are Republican candidates who can save the Party. Some of those on the debate stage last night reinforce that claim.

But let's get one observation out of the way first. CNBC proved to be bias, arrogant and smug. Their first meaningless and trivial question---"What is your biggest weakness...?"---set the stage for their disposition toward the candidates. It was obvious. Why not start with "What is your greatest strength?" In my former professional life, I was always more interested in the answer to that question when I interviewed for new employees. The fact is the media can't help pretending they are honest, credible and ethical. We've watched that behavior over and over again whether it had to do with the lies associated with  ObamaCare to covering for the lies of Hillary Clinton. The media's malfeasance is on parade every day. And we watched it play out last night.

And it was good to see some Republicans not taking any of the the media's unfairness in the debate.

Ted Cruz was the first one to push back on CNBC's prejudicial onslaught.  His response to the questions: "The questions asked in this debate illustrate why the American people don't trust the media. ...How about talking about substantive issues?" That response received the highest positive rating ever by a focus group conducted by Frank Luntz.

Marco Rubio also took the same train when he said, "The Democrats have the ultimate super-PAC: It's called the main stream media." And to make his point he continued: "Last week, Hillary Clinton went before a committee...She admitted she had sent e-mails to her family saying 'hey, this attack in Benghazi was caused by al-Qaeda-like elements' She spent over a week telling the families of those victims and the American people that it was because of a video. And yet, the mainstream media is going around saying it was the greatest week in Hillary Clinton's campaign. It was the week she got exposed as a liar." {I pointed the exact same thing out in a previous post}...'

Even Chris Christie reverted to his old self when he said, "I don't see a lot of weakness on this stage. Where I see weakness is in those three people are left on the Democratic stage. You know, I see a socialist, and isolationist and a pessimist. And for the sake of me, I can't figure out which one is which." He received a well deserved applause after speaking those truths.

In summary, most did well with the exception of Jeb Bush. Rubio took Jeb out early after Bush tried to nail Rubio on his voting record. In fact, that moment might go down as the moment Bush met his end in this campaign.

Republicans should be pleased with most of their candidates based on their debate performance last night. On the other hand, the media embarrassed themselves yet again.

The Republican Party Is No Longer An Opposition Party

Losing like a gentleman when your country is on fire is no virtue...John Nolte Tweet

In the past, I've written a handful of pieces illustrating the Republicans to be feckless and spineless. In fact, I've often referred to the Party as a mirage. The current Budget Act (2015) confirms my observations again. Instead of reducing the size of government and curtailing government spending, the "bipartisan" Budget Act gives Democrats everything they want. Even more disturbing, it takes away a significant campaign tool to use against Hillary Clinton during this campaign.

This two-year budget does nothing to set up spending caps. It does nothing to balance the budget. In fact, it increases discretionary spending caps by almost $50 billion in the next fiscal year (2016) and $30 billion in 2017. In other words, it increases spending by at least $80 billion.

In addition to this budget, Republicans appear to have completely disengaged from core conservative values and principles. These include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Limited government. Not government overreach into every aspect of our lives.
  • Supporting free enterprise and economic liberty. You can't have either when they fail to address the country's growing debt. As of this very moment, the official debt is $18.4 trillion dollars. The nation's actual debt is over $100 trillion dollars when social security and Medicare are factored in.
  • Pursuing the lowering of taxes. Right now, that's a pipe dream.
Well managed government finance is just one of many core principles associated with conservatives. Others include ensuring our national security, continued support of a strong military (especially will all of the current threats we face globally), abiding by our Constitutional principles, and keeping the pledges made to the American people.

Republicans managed to win two mid-term elections handily. Yet, in the face of a failed presidential administration, they lost two national elections.  One reason for their failure to win those two national elections can be directly attributed to weak leadership in both the House and Senate. It's no secret to conservatives that both Boehner (House) and McConnell (Senate) have been total disasters for the Party. For example, how many times in the last seven years have Republicans promised to repeal ObamaCare? How many times have they promised to take on illegal immigration? Both of these broken promises are evidence of Republican weakness.

The fact that Democrat leadership (Obama, Pelosi and Reid) support this budget proposal is all you need to know. In fact, she praised Paul Ryan's support of the tentative budget deal. (As I write this, it appears Paul Ryan will take over the House Speaker seat). The astronauts in the space station can actually see the smiles on their faces.

If you're surprised at the strength of Trump and Dr. Carson at this point in the campaign, don't be. Conservatives Americans have every right to be cautious of the elite Republican political class. After all, they have yet to prove to have the backs of conservatives.

To once again refer to a Tweet for David Burge: "The greatest trick the devil ever played was convincing me I had quarters in my ears or maybe that was Grandpa." In this case, it's been Republicans.

How Warped And Toxic Is Progressive Ideology?---This Warped And Toxic

With climate change as our #1 enemy, Pres. Obama has replaced the Secretary of Defense with Al Roker...WH Press Secretary Tweet (satire)

This week---the week after NYPD Officer Randolph Holder was shot and killed by yet another thug---scumbags decided to hold an anti-cop rally in Washington Square Park in Manhattan. This was the same rally where another Hollywood nitwit, Quentin Tarantino, insulted police officers and the memory of Officer Holder. The hypocrisy of Tarantino is stunning. This is the same putz whose made millions with movies glorifying killing and violence. This year alone, four NYPD officers were shot and killed. Two of them were ambushed while sitting in their police cruiser last December. There is some good news even in the tragedy of Holder's murder. His family does not want Al Sharpton speaking at the funeral. One reason? Officer Holder despised Sharpton.

This past summer we also witnessed many knuckleheads in the Black Lives Matter movement shout: "Pigs in a blanket; Fry'em like bacon." Those race-baiting bullies shouted those disgraceful comments and others subsequent to the ambushed killing of Texas sheriff Darren Goforth. He was shot in the back of his head while pumping fuel for his vehicle.

But progressive warped ideology doesn't end there. In case you missed it, Bruce Jenner (AKA Caitlyn) may be honored by Glamour magazine as---get your duct tape out---"Woman of The Year."

And last week, we also witnessed Hillary Clinton caught in multiple lies at the Benghazi Hearings yet the presstitutes in the media hailed her testimony.

Allow me to continue with the nonsense coming out of the progressive political class (also includes  many in the media):

  • Israel is still considered the "bad" player in the Middle East as its citizens are being murdered in their streets on a daily basis. The same screwball observations were made against Israel as Hamas rained thousands of rockets upon Israeli soil for years.
  • As Hillary Clinton and her ilk bash the 1%, she's raked in millions of dollars from corporate fat cats including lobbyists and bankers. Remember, she's also the hypocrite who charged a quarter of a million dollars per 90 minute speech. In fact, the NY Post reported yesterday, Clinton has received more donations from CEOs than any other GOP candidate.
  • Speaking of Al Sharpton, how long has he been the spokesperson for many in the black community?
  • How many black lives have been lost in the wake of failed progressive policies in cities like Baltimore, Detroit, Chicago and too many others to name here? The Black Lives Matter movement doesn't even concern itself with those black lives.
  • We watched as many in the media continued to perpetuate a false narrative regarding the shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, MO. By the way, so did the vile Tarantino at the anti-cop rally.
  • We've also beeen witness to the warped ideology surrounding the insane concept of sanctuary cities.
  • In the "tolerant" progressive universities and colleges we're seeing an attack on free speech (against conservatives) as well as raging anti-semitism. In addition, as Islamist continue to stack one Christian body on another, our media remains generally silent on the genocide.
  • In Bernie Sanders, the Democrats actually have an avowed socialist running for president. Yet, we have yet to hear any MSM reporter ask him: "So Bernie, can you show us were Socialism has actually worked?" He can't because his own destructive ideology has welcomed the likes of Che, Castro, Chavez and countless other socialist scumbags.
These are but a few examples of what progressively ideology leaves in its toxic wake. While it clear that the facts and truth have never been progressive values, it remains disturbing that so many Americans have bought into this pernicious and often harmful ideology.
