Republicans + Conservatives Win Big And You Can Hear Hillary Clinton Weeping

You can tell an election is approaching when you finally start seeing yard signs, lively debates, bumper sticks, Hillary talking to blacks...WH Press Secretary Tweet (satire)

The Republican  and conservative wins last Tuesday were so widespread even the media presstitutes couldn't avoid reporting on them. These included, but were not limited to, the following:

  • Republicans held every single seat in Virginia.
  • Doobie legislation failed miserably in Ohio.
  • The San Francisco Sheriff who defended the city's "sanctuary city" policy was smoked.
However, the victory that shook even the Republican elite establishment occurred in Kentucky. It was in Bluegrass State that two conservatives won. Matt Bevin, the underdog according to most polls, hammered Jack Conway, a social and fiscal progressive. Bevin will only be the second Republican governor in Kentucky in the last 40 years to hold that office.

But there's even larger story. Janean Hampton will be the state's first female African-American to hold the position of Lieutenant Governor. In fact, she was the first black to be elected to statewide office in Kentucky. She, like Bevin, also identify with the Tea Party movement. Hampton is a firm believer in limited government. She grew up poor but managed to  climb out of inner-city Detroit. She's also happens to be an Air Force veteran who served in Desert Storm. Her credentials are impeccable.

Like several of the current GOP candidates running for president, both Bevin and Hampton are political outsiders. Kentucky may just prove to be the forerunner to the 2016 elections. In addition, Republicans now hold 32 governorships and well as holding a majority of state legislator seats. They won landslides in the last two mid-term elections. The last time Republicans held this much power was almost 100 years ago.

Unfortunately---at least on the federal level---the Republican Party has proven to be more of a mirage than a real opposition party. It remains to be seen what the outcome will be in 2016. But one fact is certain: You can hear Hillary Clinton weeping.

Another Great American City Plunges Farther Into Progressive Hell

It's easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled...Mark Twain

Last year, I warned New Yorkers and the nation to watch what will go on in New York City after progressive (and some believe Marxist)  De Blasio was elected mayor. I cautioned that NYC would be another petri dish for progressive policies. New Yorkers watched as De Blasio allowed the race-baiting hoaxer and alleged million dollar tax evader-Al Sharpton-to be an adviser to the NYPD. In fact, De Blasio actually invited Sharpton on the dais with NYPD Commish William Bratton.  Sharpton was invited to speak about "policing." This came shortly after the death of Eric Garner.

This is the same De Blasio who had a campaign aid who Tweeted out "F*ck the Police." She was last working for De Blasio on community issues. This is the same De Blasio who counseled his son to be fearful of the police. (Any wonder the anti-police protest took place in NYC last week---a week after another NYPD officer was shot in the head by a scumbag? That NYPD officer was the 4th murdered in the last 11 months). This is the same mayor who had an adviser who was living with a felon---a felon who regularly wrote anti-police rants on his FB page. There are countless examples of these type of "f*uck You's" to New Yorkers and to Americans as well. After all, NYC is the largest city in America. One cannot disconnect the two. The same can be said for its politics.

Unfortunately, that petri dish is now brimming with bacteria. Law enforcement sources told the NY Post yesterday murder rates have skyrocketed 350% over the same period in 2014. Rapes have also increased. (Overall crime has decreased by 3%).

Homelessness has become a more serious problem in NYC since De Blasio was elected. In addition, De Blasio's head of homelessness operation resigned. She criticized him for not paying enough attention to the issue. According to sources, he only met with her two times from January to May of this year for a total of 55 minutes. The former nun was a veteran of five NYC administrations. She resigned in frustration.

Perhaps De Blasio's lack of attention to these issues should surprise no one since he's been traveling outside of the city more often than previous mayors.  This "globe trotting" mayor visited England, Italy, Puerto Rico (twice) , Paris, and Israel in just over a year. During the same period, he also traveled to Chicago, Atlantic City, Boston (twice), Iowa, California, Rhode Island and Connecticut.  Quite a few of his personal travel trips were on weekdays. The NY Post also reports many of these trips were for his left-wing pet projects. Much of the cost of these trips have been picked up by taxpayers.

Perhaps New Yorkers are lucky. As one former donor to De Blasio---who plans on running against De Blasio in 2017--- said, "The real problem is how poorly he performs when he's in NY City."

It's also one of the reasons why I generally don't take Mr. Obama to task for taking so many vacations. During his absence, the nation is often much better off.

It's Time We Say "No!" To The Progressive Political Class

Lois Lerner would've done more jail time if she made a crappy YouTube video...Razor's Tweet

Last week I wrote that the Republican Party is no longer the opposition party.  Since that was posted, we had another Republican debate. The good news is many of those candidates running for office finally said "No!" to the media---the voices for the progressive political class. So there just might be some hope for the Republican Party after all.

But let's pray it's not too late. They should have said "No!" more often. If they did, perhaps we wouldn't find our nation in the precarious state of affairs it's in right now. So when should they have said "No!"?  Some examples:

  • No to the Iran Deal---one of this administration's biggest blunders---even bigger than releasing 5 Taliban combatant terrorists.
  • To the budget deal that increases spending by at least $80 billion.
  • To an economic policy that has left almost 94 million Americans out of the workforce.
  • To an economic policy that has plunged 45 million Americans into poverty.
  • To the despicable treatment of some of our allies including Israel.
  • To an administration and Democrat Party that shoves aside our Constitution for purely political purposes.
  • To ObamaCare.
  • To sanctuary cities.
  • To amnesty for illegal immigrants.
  • To the continued mistreatment of many of our veterans who use the VA medical facilities.
  • To a foreign policy that has left much of the world no longer respecting us. More disturbing---they no longer fear us.
  • To any discussions about overturning the Second Amendment.
  • To the media and progressive political class that keeps perpetuating false narratives. Ferguson comes immediately to mind. In addition, perpetuating false narratives about most of our police officers.
  • To accusations of perpetuating a war on women, a war on minorities, etc.
  • To absurd political correctness when it comes to defining who our enemies are---the Islamist terrorists.
  • To political corruption.
These are but a few of many examples illustrating it's time to say "No!" to warped and toxic policies that have inflicted serious wounds upon our nation---wounds that will last generations.

Just say "NO!" Let's start now. It's not as painful as many would like us to believe. In fact, we'll find it inspiring and even uplifting.

Postscript:  Since this was posted, we witnessed the Benghazi Report, Comey's Report and WikiLeaks.  SAY NO!!!
