At the end of every year, I usually like to review the lies of the progressive political class. I'll infuse many of those in this piece today. They've been impossible to ignore. However, 2014 has also been a year of progressives still living stupidly. Let's begin...

• The Obama administration's foreign policy has not only been a failure---one can make a case for a total lack of foreign policy.
• When speaking of stupidity, MSNBC has to top the list. I've referred to the network as a haven for lunatics. Their most current ratings plunge of 18% proves my point. Who wants to watch a bunch of nitwits tripping over their own bias every day?
• Speaking of the main street media, we've witnessed them compromising journalistic principles by either steering the news from the truth or outright deceiving the public. We've seen that in their coverage of Benghazi to the Zimmerman case to Ferguson. It's been their deception that has perpetuated numerous myths, e.g. "Hands Up; Don't Shoot."
• Jonathan Gruber, Obama's health care adviser, admitted to the numerous lies within Obamacare. He was so stupid; he boasted while being videotaped.  And just recently, he admitted the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) is not really affordable.
• The stupids at CNN spent weeks on Bridgegate. Turned out to be a non-story.
• While Scott Walker, the Republican Governor of WI, was being hammered by progressives; he manged to beat them back every time. He did it by being true to conservative principles.
• Yet, while Republicans won big in 2010 and 2014, the Party remains a mirage. Perhaps they're just plain stupid.
• We've watched progressive ideology that focuses almost entirely on identity politics, bigotry, intolerance and lies. Al Sharpton comes immediately to mind.
• From Benghazi to Ft. Hood, we watched political correctness and appeasement infect the political culture.
• As Islamist continue to stack one Christian body on top of another, what do we hear from our media?  White noise. In fact, the progressive political class is so stupid, they actually believed hashtags would stop the kidnappings and killing of innocents.
• The administration released five of Taliban's commanders. Note: rumors about their fighting with ISIS have not proven to be true.
• The WH admitted it had no strategy to deal with the rise of ISIS. Prior to the 2012 elections, they said al-Qaeda was on the run. Yep---stupid.
• Wendy Davis ran for office. Wendy who?
• The back-stabbing, pompous ass---John F. Kerry---replaces Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State. His tenure is making Clinton look like Henry Kissinger.

America Is Turning Its Back To The Progressive Political Class

The NYPD has been criticized by some for turning their backs to Mayor de Blasio at funeral for slain NYPD Officer Rafael Ramos. I happen to agree with what they did but perhaps for not all the same reasons. I contend  what the NYPD did is simply a reflection of what is happening throughout the nation.  America is growing tired of:

• The media and progressives spewing false narratives.
• The likes of Al Sharpton and punk protesters fanning the flames by using anti-police rants and placing the lives of police officers in danger. In the last week alone, nine suspects have been arrested for threatening NYPD police officers. As Paul Schaberger wrote in the NY Post several days ago: "The NYPD has been made a target for all the murderous crazies within the sound of the words of the vermin who will say anything to advance themselves, trampling dignity, decency and the truth every time they open their mouths."
• Thugs like Al Sharpton having more access to the White House and Gracie Mansion than most honest, patriotic Americans.
• Irresponsible leadership from many politicians residing in the highest offices of government.
• The lies and deceit coming from both the media and the progressive political class. We witnessed this first hand with Gruber testifying of the lies embedded throughout Obamacare---lies meant to sell the law to the American people
• Incendiary rhetoric that gives the green light to mob bullies. This was in evidence in both Ferguson and NYC.
• A Washington establishment awash in scandals, corruption and incompetence. In other words, it should have surprised no one why Democrats lost so many seats in the last two elections (2010 and 2014).
• Political correctness trumping common sense.
• Continued pumping of billions of dollars into failed public school systems just to appease the public school unions.
• Giving amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants jumping ahead of the line and in front of millions who are currently following the legal pathway to citizenship.

These are but a sampling of the many reasons Americans are fed up especially with the progressive political class (that includes Democrats, Republicans and their fawning media). But irresponsible actions and incendiary rhetoric have consequences. I believe we're starting to see that play out as many more Americans are finally awaking from their six year coma. Perhaps there is hope but not the kind of hope initially envisioned by progressives. That hope left town the day Pres. Obama took his presidential oath of office.  

Postscript: Since this was posted, more Hillary Clinton scandals have emerged. This is leading to her poll numbers starting to tank.

Journalists appear to be at a crossroads. Do they search out the truth or do they just keep promoting lies? In recent years, it certainly appears they've decided to pursue the latter.

And I couldn't help coming to this conclusion with the AP announcing its top story of the year is the "hands-up" myth perpetuated during and after the Michael Brown shooting in Ferguson. This followed four CNN hosts who put their hands up while on the air two weeks ago. One of the nitwit hosts actually said: "We want you to know that our hearts are out there marching with them." And these people call themselves journalists?

The media's failure to report the truth and being a government watchdog is not a new phenomena. Their sins of omission have been on display for quite some time now. We've seen it in their coverage of Pres. Obama, Obamacare, immigration issues and foreign policy especially anything having to do with Israel and terrorism. In fact, last summer I was compelled to write a piece entitled, "Somewhere In Hell, Josesph Goebbels Is Smiling." In it, I summarized the media's conspicuous bias against Israel.

But just as disturbing---especially in the current climate---it's MSNBC who still has Al Sharpton on its payroll. Several months ago, even David Zuwarick of the Baltimore Sun apparently had enough of MSNBC  himself when he wrote, "That's not a news channel...It's a propaganda machine." I had to follow that article with my own when I accused the network of being a "haven for lunatics."

Progressive Rhetoric & Actions Submerging America Into A Bloody Hell

Last year after the NYC mayoral election, I predicted NYC would be plunging into progressive hell. Little did I know at that time how prescient I was. I made that claim essentially based on Mayor de Blasio's background. In short, his sympathies with Marxist ideology were (continue to be) well known. It didn't take long for Mayor de Blasio to begin his journey into the heart of darkness and take New Yorkers along for the ride. For example:

• He invited Al Sharpton to a round table to discuss the NYPD  As an editorial in the NY Post described at the time, de Blasio gave this fake, phony and fraud a "platform to advance his views on how our police department should be policing." At the time, I also pointed out Sharpton's outstanding federal and state tax liabilities to the tune of several million dollars. But even more disturbing, Sharpton has a long history of leaving bodies in his wake.  In 1995, he led a protest at Freddies Fashion Mart that left 8 people dead. Most people already know his direct participation in the Tawana Brawley rape allegation hoax in 1987. And then there was the 2006 Duke Lacrosse rape hoax. More lies by Sharpton. This past weekend, after protests he led in NYC,  NYPD officers Rafael Romos and Wenjian Liu were assassinated while sitting in their patrol car.
• After he was elected, de Blasio appointed his wife to a city position. She then appointed her own Chief of Staff---to the tune of $170K/year---who happened to be living with a scumbag who ranted regularly against police officers (FB posts). In addition, he had a conviction for manslaughter. Prior to working for the First Lady of NYC, she was one of the chief spokespersons for Al Sharpton. She also has a history of failing to pay her taxes.
• Then there's the Speaker of NY City Council, a close confidante to Mayor de Blasio. At one time, she lobbied for the release of several Cuban intelligence agents convicted of spying on the United States. She also advocated for the release of the leader of the FALN, a Puerto Rican domestic terrorist group. This group set off over 120 bombs in the country most in New York City and Chicago from 1974 to 1983. Some of those bombings resulted in the death of innocent bystanders. In April of 1974, they set off 4 bombs in NYC within 40 minutes. Five people were injured in those bombings. In 1999, then Pres. Clinton offered clemency to 16 imprisoned FALN members.
• Prior to the murder of the two NYPD police officers, a case can be made for both Mayor de Blasio and Al Sharpton lighting the fuse that led to the assassination of these officers. Just about a week ago, De Blasio admitted counseling his own son to be careful when dealing the police. This is an absurd comment considering his son should be wary of other black youth when it comes to being a victim of crime (the First Lady is black).
• Sharpton and other punks led protests with many chanting death to the police. He already has a long history of throwing out the race card on the table when it comes to describing the police and the NYPD.  Last week, Mayor de Blasio met with the protesters instead of  several of his own NYPD officers who were attacked by a group of thugs. Those apprehended for allegedly attacking the officers are union members, teachers and one who works as a coordinator at a museum.
• And just breaking today and as of now, De Blasio avoided meeting with the families of the executed police officers (recall, he met with protesters last week). Any wonder the NYPD turn their backs to him when he walked into a press briefing last Saturday in Brooklyn? He should have already done so.
• NYC is submerging into progressive bloody hell. The concern should now be: Will the rest of America follow?

Sony Hacking Reveals The Selective Outrage Of The Gutless Progressive Class

I have to confess, I'm not losing sleep over the hacking of Sony. While I fully understand the dangers of Cyber attacks (especially on our security, financial systems and energy infrastructure), I'm finding it difficult to show any sympathy for many of the hypocrites in Hollywood.

Flashbacks:

• As progressives show outrage at Communist N. Korea, they've showed nothing but sympathy and praise for Communist Cuba. For example, in 2009, a select group of our finest in Congress {the Congressional Black Caucus} visited Cuba, and returned ready to declare Castro for sainthood. "I think that what really surprised me, but also endeared me to him, was his keen sense of humor, his sense of history and his basic human qualities," said Bobby Rush (D-Ill) at the time. Rush said this about a dictator whose conducted a reign of terror in Cuba for the last 55 years. It appears our nitwit congressmen and women have no sympathy for the 17,000 political assassinations conducted by the Castro regime. Hey! But the guy has a great sense of humor. And that's just one small example of Castro's barbarism.
• There's the Hollywood nitwits. Stephen Spielberg, after meeting with Castro, proclaimed it as "the eight most important hours of my life." Ed Asner,  Danny Glover and Harry Belafonte have been on record praising Castro. And then there's that always reliable knucklehead, Michael Moore, who loves Cuba's healthcare system even though access to antibiotics and aspirin is limited (usually to the upper class who happen to be well-healed Communists anyway. I personally witnessed this type of warped healthcare system in Eastern Europe when it was under the jack-book of the Communists).
• While Hollywood is up in arms over what appears to be North Korea's hacking of Sony, it was just 14 years ago when they savaged George W. Bush for including N. Korea in the Axis of Evil in addition to Iran and Iraq. As one critic said of Hollywood's response, "If we can't see Seth Rogan with a salami stuck between his butt cheeks, the terrorist have won." Kyle Smith, a film critic, described Hollywood appropriately as "the valley of cowards" after reporting that New Regency Pictures just cancelled a thriller about N. Korea.
• One of the disturbing outcomes of Sony's response is that almost anyone who does not agree with a particular film can now block its distribution----even though progressives have been doing a good job at trying to block anything conservatives do even selling chicken or specific TV reality shows.
• Anyway, while Sony and Hollywood wimped with distributing The Interview, there's always Team America.

I've often written about the failures of progressive ideology as well as the dangers of political correctness. Both are the sides of the same coin. With the massacre in Sydney this week, it's time to revisit why political correctness is not only a danger to society, but it can also be a killer.

• Australians are now asking authorities why an Islamist who was charged in his ex-wife's murder and the sexual assault of at least 40 women was free to walk the streets of Sydney. The killer was out on bail.
• The Pakistanis tolerating Islamist extremism.
• Last year, an independent study in Rotherham, England, found that at least 1,500 young girls were brutally sexually assaulted in the form of rape, human trafficking and torture over a 15 year period. The perpetrators of the crimes were largely confined to the local Muslim Pakistani community. The Home Secretary in Britain classified the crimes as "institutionalized political correctness." In other words, local authorities were aware of these crimes but did nothing for years. Another MP admitted, "There was a culture of not wanting to rock the multicultural community..."
• We now know that the Ft. Hood shooting could have been avoided if not for political correctness. Prior to Nidal Hassan killing 13 and injuring 32, authorities already knew of Hassan's Islamist sympathies.  The FBI was aware of Hassan's warped ideology. For example, his communicating with Anwar al-Awlaki, a senior al-Qaeda operative (who is now parrying with his 72 virgins thanks to a Hellfire missile) was widely known prior to the massacre at Ft. Hood.
• In WWII Germany (and pre-war), it was politically correct to condone violence against Jews. Today not much has changed considering violence against Christians is rarely reported in the main stream media.
• The only conclusion any rational observer can come to is that Islamist terrorism is just one outcome of political correctness (there are countless other examples).
• I've written in the past that I don't have a problem with Islam in general except for their contributions to peace in the form of terrorism, decapitating innocents, torture, raping women and children, gang raping, slavery, forced marriages, honor killings, using children as human shields, and hatred of Christians and Jews. Excluding those, it's a religion of peace.
• But the real disgrace is our tolerating these events and incidents in the name of political correctness. It's also why it takes more courage to be politically incorrect.

A lot has been written and debated about regarding the alleged torture {enhanced interrogation techniques} used by the CIA on Islamist prisoners in the last two weeks. And we've been lectured by many that our country's moral standards should trump any use of these enhanced interrogation techniques. And while any reasonable person would agree that torture is unjustified for the usual prisoners of war, I contend our enemies today are not "usual" prisoners. They're nothing but savages and torture is too good for them. It's time for some perspective. The following are just a few examples of Islam's contribution to peace.

Torture is too good for these savages...

• By now, many know about the Taliban massacring of at least 126 people---most of them children. It's also been reported that a teacher was set on fire and made the children watch.
• In September of 2004, Islamist seized a school in Besian, a town in the Russian Federation. They held over 1000 people hostage. After the three day siege ended, 385 hostages were killed including 186 children.
• Last November, a Christian couple were burned alive by a mob in Pakistan. NBC News
• Last August, Boko Haram decapitated a Christian boy. Boko Haram has been responsible for slaughtering over 10,00o Christians and locals in the last several years including kidnapping hundreds of young girls and selling them as slaves. Christian Today/NBC News
• This week, ISIS released a video of them beheading 13 victims in Iraq. The Religion of Peace
• Last week, a Palestinian threw acid onto an Israeli family including their children. IDF
• This past weekend, ISIS tortured Christians in their own churches.
• ISIS proclaiming it's okay to rape children as young as nine years of age. They sell children for about $200 a child. They actually have a price list for female slaves. Women ages 40-50 are sold for $43.00. Girls age ranges from 10-20 years of age are sold for $125.00. IN News
• Last week, ISIS was trying to sell the body of James Foley for $1 million. BuzzFeed
• Al-Qaeda commander denounced the use of decapitation by ISIS. they urged ISIS to use bullets instead. NY Times
• In the Islamic world, gays are routinely tortured, lashed, stoned and hanged. Religion of Peace   
• Since 9/11/2001, Islamist have carried out almost 25,000 attacks world-wide. This past November alone, there were 284 attacks that resulted in the death of 2500 people in 23 different countries. The Religion of Peace

Again, this is just a small sampling of the actions taken daily by the enemy we face.  So when you hear the moralistic grandstanding coming out Washington D.C. and our media, it's imperative to know that torture is too good for these savages. These are not people. They are blood-thirsty, crazed, ultra-violent, inhuman, homicidal maniacs. They need to be defeated. They need to be put down.
