Usual Media Jagoffs Begin Their Usual Inane Speculation About Colorado Shooting; Knee-Pad Media Exploits Shooting For Political Reasons Again; Bad Week For Economy Again; Gutless UN on Syria; Reasons To Vote For Obama

  • My regular readers know I normally begin my post with some type of late-night joke or headline from The Onion, but, under the circumstances, I'll suspend it for one day. Blessings for all those killed and injured in this latest tragedy in Colorado.

  • One thing that has not been suspended is the jagoff, knee-pad media, as they always do after such unfortunate incidents,  speculating about the Colorado shooting.  For example, Brian Ross and George Stephonolpoulos suggested there might be a Tea Party connection to the shooter. Piers Morgan of CNN---whose ratings are in the toilet so deep even a Joe the Plumber couldn't save it (that's a child watching CNN above)---blasted gun owners as did Mayor Bloomberg of NYC. If you recall, it was the knee-pad media who couldn't wait to blame the Tea Party for the Tuscon shooting of Congresswomen Giffords.
  • As always, the knee-pad media and some politicians will exploit this shooting for purely political reasons. The fact is---whatever this killer's politics are---he's evil and he just might be a crazed maniac like the Tuscon shooter.

  • These scumbags can't wait to politicize such tragedies for one reason alone: to manipulate public opinion. And they will do this by insulting a majority of the country. Yet, when Nidal Hasan opened fire on fellow soldiers at Ft. Hood killing 12 and injuring over 40, the knee-pad media withheld even reporting his name let alone his race. In addition, the continued to try to convince us he was a "lone wolf." But now we know---because of a just concluded review of the FBI's handling of the case---they knew of Nidal's connections to Anwar al-Awlaki, a radical American cleric, BEFORE the shooting took place. The review also found out the FBI behaved this way for PC reasons.
  • As it should be, we all need to let this story play out. We'll find out more about the shooter and perhaps his reasons. But, now, let's be rationale---for once. (And I'm directing this at the media).
  • Best headline about the shooting: "Half-Assed Media Speculation About the Batman Shooter." Reason

Pelosi, Reid Won't Release Their Tax Returns; Obama's Tax Increases Would Mean over 700k Jobs Lost; Obama's Blunder on Business Remarks; Alec Baldwin Can't Be Happy; Israelis Targeted Again

President Obama is pleased to announce today he created a job. Congratulations to Amelio Markham on his new job making charts illustrating Obama's downward spiraling approval ratings...Letterman

  • Strap yourselves in today, because you're going to need it. If you think you're pissed off now, wait until you finish reading this post. You ain't seen nothing yet.
  • Before I start with the political news, I have a comment regarding the Penn State scandal. Is it any wonder the university is in the trouble it's in when the Board of Trustees can't even decide what to do with Joe Paterno's statue? It should surprise no one why Jerry Sandusky was coddled all those years.  My opinion? The statue MUST come down. It's a distraction. Moreover, it honors a man who knew what Sandusky had been doing for over 12 years. The statue must go down! Furthermore, why didn't the executives at Penn State understand that if they had taken the appropriate actions years ago, they would have protected the school's reputation rather than sweeping it under the rug. These institutions just never learn.
  • McClatchy News service is reporting today that Pelosi, Reid and many others in Congress have not released their own tax returns as they demand Romney to release his. The hypocrisy is so conspicuous, it's disgraceful beyond description.
  • (While I'm on  Sen.Harry Reid, The Las Vegas-Journal reported recently that a solar production company in Nevada that was hailed by Reid has been shut down since May. It used to employ 700 workers and received almost $22 million in taxpayer funded grants). When are more Americans going to realize how much corruption there is in this administration and in Congress?

WTF? First Lady Praised Bain in 2011; Mitt: Don't Release More Tax Returns; Obama's View of Business Should Not Have Surprised Anyone; Enthusiasm for Mitt Moving Up While Moving Down for Obama; Obama's Jobs Council Has Not Met in Over 6 Months; Weiner To Rise Again?

A new poll found that 54% of Florida voters think the country is on the wrong track under Obama. While the rest of Florida voters think Teddy Roosevelt is president...Fallon

  • With the Obama campaign hammering Romney for his association with Bain Capital more than 10 years ago, Michelle Obama praised Bain as recently as 2011. Bright Horizons, a corporate day care company, was helped by Bain to get off the ground. "The Partnership for a Healthier America is working with private providers like Bright Horizons...We already have commitments that are going to affect hundreds of thousands of children today," said the First Lady in June of 2011. WTF? Daily Caller
  • If you recall, last week I reported on the piece in Brietbart reporting that Obama took money from Bain outsourcing executives.
  • The Obama administration refuses to release all of their Fast and Furious documents yet they want Romney to release all of his tax returns. Last time I checked, no one was killed by Romney not releasing more of his tax returns.
  • In fact, in my opinion, Romney should not release more of his tax returns. It's another diversionary trap set by the Obama campaign. If Romney releases more returns, it still would not be enough. They and the rest of the knee-pad media would want to see more returns.

Makes You Wonder...About Unemployment, Lousy Economy, Green-Eco Jobs Scams, Romney's Reactions, Fast & Furious, Clowns, Frauds, Badasses...Makes Me Wonder

Obama said the biggest mistake of his first term was not telling a story to give Americans a sense of unity. In response, American were like, "Yeah, fixing the economy would've been cool too."...Fallon

  • Folks, come on, doesn't make you wonder how Pres. Obama's numbers still hover in the 44% to 47% range when his performance has been so pathetic? There's not one CEO, supervisor or manager in the country that would tolerate such poor performance from one of their employees. Makes you wonder, right?

  • Makes me wonder why the Obama administration does the same thing over and over again even when those things have not worked.

  • How insane is all of this nonsense about Romney and Bain Capital? This is insane. We're suppose to be more annoyed and angry about what Romney did with his own money or investors' money that what Obama has done with OUR money? Give me a break. We have an administration that follows the definition of insanity by doing the same thing over and over again that has not worked yet expecting a different outcome.
  • "...think 8.2% unemployment for more than three years amid rising debt and deficits-a true leader accepts the need to try a different course. Only a zealot, blinded by ideology or indifference would insist on more of the same."... Michael Goodwin, NY Post
