How To Find A Masculine Halloween Costume For Your Effeminate Son...The Onion

- As reported yesterday, it now appears the gender gap has evaporated. When Pres. Obama had up to an 18 point lead over Romney with women, it's now within the margin of error. That swing took place in just over a month. And I believe one reason is most women now find it offensive that the Democrats and the Obama administration only focus on what is between a woman's legs instead of what is between her ears. And if you think I'm exaggerating, the image above is straight from the Obama campaign web site (removed after they got hammered for using it).
- If Obama does manage to get re-elected next week don't be surprised if the Benghazi scandal becomes Obama's Watergate (it's actually worse than Watergate. You can refer to an earlier post regarding my opinion on why Benghazi is much worse). As of today, those scumbags who killed 4 Americans are getting away with murder.
- Charles Woods, father of Tyrone Woods, who was one of the Americans killed in Benghazi, said of meeting Pres. Obama at Andrews AFB: "...he (Obama) could not look me in the eye. And it was not sincere." Mr. Woods said shaking Obama's hand was like shaking hands with a dead fish." Weekly Standard
- Flashback: Remember when Liberals boycotted Chick -fil- A several months ago? Well, their numbers are in. Their quarterly earnings ROSE 2.2%.
- Gallup is now reporting that Romney did a better job overall when all three debates are rated. Observers gave Romney a 46% approval rating in the debates to Obama's 44%.
- Surprise! Another Obama administration, tax-payer funded solar company filed for bankruptcy yesterday. Satcon Technologies received a $3 million grant from DOE in January.

"...sales of Obama {Halloween} masks are 30% higher than sales of Romney masks. That makes sense. I mean, what's scarier than four more years of this economy."...Leno

- I've written about the Benghazi scandal on several occasions. In fact, The Political War Zone was one of the first publications to clearly show this incident was either a coverup or systemic incompetence or both. It now appears this scandal is a coverup. On Tuesday, emails by several agencies revealed the White House Situation Room was informed al-Qaeda claimed responsibility for the attack (USA TODAY reports {"U.S. Knew Of Terror Claims In Libya Attack"} the emails were received Sept. 11 by the State Department's Operations Center and sent immediately to the White House). The Situation Room received this information within two hours of the initial assault on the consulate. This means the White House and State Department lied to the American people when they continued to claim a non-existent anti-Muslim film was the reason the consulate was attacked when they knew otherwise. In addition, they continued to use the film as a reason for the attack two weeks later. In other words, the Obama administration and the State Department knew there was an email trail in conflict with their story, but decided to continue lying to the American people. We also now know---from reports last week---there was a CIA drone in the sky over the consulate as the attack took place.
- Perhaps almost as disturbing, to date, nobody has been fired for this FUBAR (military term meaning: F--ked Up Beyond All Recognition). In my opinion, the credibility of the White House is now in shreds.
- And keep in mind, instead of calling an intelligence briefing meeting, Obama headed off to Vegas for a fund raiser right after the attack on the embassy.
- The fact is even if Obama wins the election, Benghazi will continue to haunt his administration.
- Gen. Jim Jones, former Obama National Security advisor, told PBS that there has been no progress in the Middle East under Obama.

"Obama: I stand with Israel, unless I get a better offer...like The View" Tweet from M. McAulay

- Most pundits today are declaring last night's debate a draw. Romney, many concluded, passed the "Commander-in-Chief" test. He kept focus on defending his strategic vision for America. Romney also came off very optimistic, gracious and bipartisan (he actually gave Obama credit several times). In my opinion, Romney also came off looking presidential, cool, calm and very reasonable.
- Pres. Obama, on the other hand, did what he had to do to appease his base: He attacked. But he looked like his head was ready to explode at times. His aggression, in my opinion, came off petulant on occasion bordering on mockery(especially during the part of the debate when both debated military budget cuts and the Navy). The president staring at Romney looked too creepy to me at times.
- Romney did himself a favor by steering a debate from foreign policy to the economy. At one time, I believe both debated the economy for at least 10-15 minutes. Every poll shows Romney wins when he discusses the economy. On the other hand, Obama has the edge on foreign policy issues (However, that's even changed in the last two months. In August, Gallup had Obama besting Romney on foreign policy, 52% to 42%. Now, Obama has only a one point edge in the same poll, 48%-47%.).
- Romney also countered the Left's ludicrous claim that he would be a warmonger. Romney said in response: "We can't kill our way out of this mess." I believe Romney hit a home run when he also stated: "Mr. President...America has not dictated to other nations. We have freed other nations from dictators." And it was pure genius when Romney reminded the audience that Obama has not visited Israel while president.
- The foreign press had an interesting take on the debate. The UK Telegraph's headline this morning: "Romney Won The Debate By Looking Presidential. Obama Had A Painful Case Of Biden Smile."

- Tonight's debate will largely focus on foreign policy. And while Romney's foreign policy experience may be lacking, Obama's appears to be a total failure.
- The Benghazi attack is just one recent glaring example of the administration's failed foreign policy (It's now become increasingly clear, our ambassador and staff were left defenseless in the face of the enemy. Not only were several requests for additional security denied prior to the attack, but there are now reports that military drones actually captured the attack on film yet the military was not dispatched to help our staff. We had fighters and AC-130 gunships stationed nearby).
- Prior to the Benghazi attack, the administration was in denial of the continued threat of al-Qaeda (In fact, they rarely use the phrase "Islamist terror" or "War on Terror'). Israel has often been treated with disdain as evidenced by Pres. Obama failing to meet with Israel's PM Netanyahu regarding Iran's threats (yet having enough time to appear on TV shows and fundraisers). China and Russia have been flexing their muscles in the last year in addition to supporting Iran, North Korea and Syria. It's becoming increasingly likely that the Taliban is gaining strength in Afghanistan again. Egypt is now in the hands of the Islamic Brotherhood. So much for the Arab Spring (always been a myth anyway).
- With regard to Europe, who knows what the Obama administration policies are across the pond. They appear to be ambiguous at the least. One thing is certain, Europe has been looking to Washington for leadership, and they've found it lacking. If that's not bad enough, Obama's foreign policy on Central and South America has also lacked clarity. Hugo Chavez won another term as president of Venezuela. Cuba is still within the Marxist sphere of influence. Just as disturbing, there are signs of anti-Americanism rising in Argentina, Bolivia and Nicaragua (with them, it's nothing new).
