Q. According to a recent survey, 7 out 10 Americans think the country is going in the wrong direction. Who are the other three?
A. Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid
While it's true most politicians make stupid comments and statements on occasion, there are a handful that make both stupid and dangerous comments on a regular basis. In fact, their statements alone should make them unfit to hold any political office. The following list is only a partial one, but it shows how politicians raise stupidity to an art form.
And then there's this gem by Bill Clinton talking about Obama to the late Ted Kennedy reported in 2010 by the NY Daily News and other news outlets: "A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee."

Just this week, Nancy Pelosi described Hamas as a "humanitarian organization." Some of her other gems include the following:
- "It's almost a false argument to say we have a spending problem."
- "Every month that we don't have an economic recovery package 500 million Americans lose their jobs." (this former Speaker of the House has no idea there are only about 320M people in America).
- "But we have to pass the bill {Obamacare} so that you can find out what is in it."
- "I don't think {Obama's} done anything for political reasons."
- Obamacare's implementation is "fabulous."
- Last April, Pelosi implied that the Founding Fathers wanted Obamacare.
- "What we're trying to do is to save the world from the Republican budget. We're trying to save life on this planet as we know it today." It's obvious she's not only a lunatic but she just might be from another planet.
And then there are these Harry Reid gems:
- "Our system of government is a voluntary tax system. Of course, you have to pay them."
- "You can literally smell the tourists coming in the Capitol." In other words, according to Reid, we stink.
- In 2008, Reid described Obama as a "light skinned African-American with no Negro dialect." (So how did he get away with such an obvious racist remark? Hint: Democrats and progressives almost always get a pass).
- In 2007, during the Iraq War, Reid said the war in Iraq is "lost." You can be assured our troops fighting in Iraq then were a tad pissed off at this miserable prick.
- During the last presidential campaign, Reid accused Romney of not paying his taxes for 10 years. He said he heard it from an anonymous source. PolitiFact later reported that the Romney's paid over $3M in taxes in 2010 and 2011. In fact, Politico even reported that Romney gave more to charity than even Biden and Obama did. In 2011, the Romney and his wife gave over $4M to charity or about 30% of their income. That same year, Biden's gave $5,540.00 or about 1.5% of their income. The Obama's gave approximately $173,000 or about 22% of their income.
- On Obama: "I mean you've got the first sort of mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and nice looking guy." (A tad racist would you say?).
- "You cannot go to a 7-11 or Dunkin Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent, I'm not joking." No Joe, you are the joke.
- "The number one job facing the middle-class, and it happens to be, as Barack says, a three-letter word: jobs-J-O-B-S!"

PS: Before I began this piece, I also researched some really stupid quotes by Republicans (not being a big fan of those buzzards either), but few come close to the stupidity referenced above.
One more gem: Reid said the border was secure.
