Greed For Money and Power: Real...Razor's Tweet re: Hillary Clinton
In my previous post, I took Republicans to task for being spineless cowards. While I believe that's accurate, the fact is they face a progressive onslaught from most corners of the media, culture and the political class.
So that got me to thinking. What if a Republican (or a conservative) did what Hillary Clinton did? For example:
- Imagine a Republican candidate for president who actually uses accents geared toward their specific audience kinda like Hillary Clinton does almost all the time.
- Imagine a Republican candidate for president who rails against income inequality while charging $200-300k for one 90 minute speech kinda like Hillary Clinton does almost all the time.
- Imagine a Republican candidate proclaiming he/she deleted 30,000 emails from a private server he/she used as Secretary of State kinda like Hillary Clinton did.
- Imagine a Republican candidate for president who denounces many corporations for not paying women the same salary as men when Hillary Clinton paid the women in her office 72 cents to each dollar paid to men.
- Imagine a Republican candidate whose husband set up a "shell" corporation to channel his payments for fuzzy consulting work kinda like Hillary's husband Bill.
- Imagine a Republican candidate for president insisting he/she has nothing to hide and then it's uncovered he/she forgot to report $26M in foreign donations to its foundation kinda like Hillary Clinton did.
- Imagine a Republican candidate for president hiding from the press for almost a month and not taking any questions from the press kinda like Hillary Clinton did.
- Imagine a Republican candidate for president who ran a foundation that sold one of the largest uranium mining companies to Russia like Hillary Clinton did.
- Imagine a Republican candidate for president who ran a foundation but neglected to disclose many of its donors like Hillary Clinton did.
- Imagine a Republican candidate for president who could not name one major accomplishment during his/her tenure kinda like Hillary Clinton did when she was Secretary of State.
- Imagine a Republican candidate for president making the false claim he/she had to dodge enemy fire in a war zone kinda like Hillary Clinton did.
- Imagine a Republican candidate for president who was responsible for overseeing our foreign policy as it turned to sh!t under his/her tenure kinda like Hillary Clinton's tenure as Secretary of State.
- Imagine a Republican candidate who was responsible for security of American diplomats who were murdered by the enemy because of the lack of security and then lying about it kinda like Hillary Clinton did with Benghazi.
In fact, especially when finances are involved, we don't have to imagine. Mitt Romney was taken to task in the last presidential campaign for his finances.
So try to imagine, if you will, what a presidency would be like under Hillary Clinton.
