Dude Benghazi was a long time ago but let's have a national debate about a battle flag from the Civil War...Razor
The presstitutes in the media who continually cloak Hillary Clinton (and Obama) in bubble wrap are so damn predictable. And the hypocrisy came to light yet again regarding the debate over illegal immigration and sanctuary cities.
As I've written before, I have no problem giving sanctuary to people who have been truly oppressed or in danger of brutality including being killed. But as the most recent incident in San Francisco proved, the intent of sanctuary cities has been perverted and corrupted in recent years. Many sanctuary cities (and there are about 200 nationwide) are now giving sanctuary to illegal immigrants who also have either criminal records or backgrounds. In fact, many have been deported on several occasions as shown by the alleged murderer in the San Francisco shooting last week.
And then there's Hillary Clinton. As recently as a little more than 10 years ago, she said: "I am, you know, adamantly against illegal immigration." She added, "We've got to do more at our borders. And people have to stop employing illegal immigrants." In my opinion, she was right then. But, as the media likes to point out about any progressive, she evolved (actually flip-flopped). This week she rebuked Republicans on immigration. She actually said, "They don't want to provide a path to citizenship." I wonder if she included Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio in that denunciation? In fact, at one time, she even said, "As president, I will not support driver's licenses for undocumented people." She "evolved" from that position too.
But her "evolving" didn't end there. With same-sex marriage, she said in 2014, "I fully endorse the efforts by activists who work state-by-state." In other words, her preference---at the time---was to leave the decision of same-sex marriage up to the states. A position I even supported. But she flipped and flopped on that issue too.
Oh, and when it comes to the controversy over the Confederate flag and the Confederacy, she and Bill Clinton (as First Lady and Gov of Arkansas) actually honored the Confederacy with a special proclamation.
These are just a few examples of many that clearly show Hillary Clinton is devoid of any core values. It's also one of the reasons why she's not considered trustworthy by a majority of Americans (Quinnipiac polls of six swing states (CO, VA, Iowa, FL, PA and Ohio).
It's clear she's a populist for purely political reasons and for convenience. She's not much different than most other politicians. But as the NY Post was inclined to ask recently: "It's whether she really believes anything at all."
Postscript: Since this was posted, it appears Clinton did have "classified" emails on her personal server contrary to what she said just a few months ago. Initially, DOJ reported the referral to them was "criminal" in nature. That's been walked-back. Instead, they are now investigating her alleged transmission of classified information.
Also, Clinton flip-flopped on the trade deal (The Trans Pacific Partnership). Previously, she had called it the "gold standard" of trade deal. She also just flipped on supporting a $15.00 minimum wage. She never did.
