The Left's Conspicuous Hypocrisy About Gun Ownership: They Have Armed Protection But Don't Want The Rest Of Us To Have It; John F. Kerry Maligned An Entire Generation Of Veterans; Progressives Blind To Their Own Racism

New Study Finds Americans Need 6 Hours Of Sleep At Work...The Onion

  • A classic example of those opposed to responsible gun ownership (largely those on the Left) is conspicuous with a presstitute like David Gregory of Meet the Press. He's another presstitute nitwit who railed against schools having well-trained armed security personnel,  yet he sends his own children to a well-protected school. The school his children attend (Sidwell Friends)  has 11 security personnel, some armed and some of whom are police officers. In addition, it's the same school Pres. Obama sends his own children too. So guess what other armed security personnel happen to be at Gregory's school? Yep, you guessed it: well armed and well trained Secret Service agents. Weekly Standard/WaPo
  • In short, the anti-gun activists want others to believe when you want your children to be safe from gun violence with well-trained armed security present, you must be nuts.
  • Fortunately, there are many areas in the country that don't feel the same way. For example, NYC has over 5000 unarmed security personnel in their schools. The NYPD also has over 350 police officers assigned to patrol the city's school campuses.  And just last week, Marlboro, NJ, authorized police officers in every one of their schools. NY Post
  • The cost of placing armed police officers in every school in the nation would be about $5B a year. The cost of foreign aid each year: anywhere from $50-60B a year. I'd say that $5B would be a damn good investment in trying to keep our children safer in schools.
  • We have armed guards in banks to guard our money. There are many pharmacies who use armed guards. Airports have armed personnel as do bus and train stations.  We have police officers on the street to help keep us safe. Some malls have armed guards. Yet, there are Americans who don't want armed personnel in our schools to protect our children? God help us.
  • Most rational Americans know the value of owning legal guns as evidenced by the number of Americans joining the NRA every day in the last two weeks: 8000 per day. Breitbart
  • As one Tweeter correctly pointed out yesterday, "Not one mass shooting has ever been stopped by a citizen carrying The New York Times."
  • The fact is it too logical to propose well trained, armed security personnel in our schools.

  • It's important to re-introduce John F. Kerry to more current generations especially since he will now be the Sectretary of State. This is a man who maligned an entire generation of Vietnam Veterans.  After being discharged from the Navy,  Kerry joined some of the most anti-military groups at the time. In 1972, he testified in Congress. In that testimony, he accused our troops and Vietnam veterans of rape, murder, and war crimes. While there were instances of war crimes by American troops, the facts show those acts were minimal. To the extent these acts were committed as described by Kerry, there is no such evidence. More recently, he supported our intervention into Iraq ("Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein...People have forgotten...we found weapons of mass destruction in {Iraq}..." But as soon as the political winds shifted, just as he did in the 1970's, he back-stabbed the administration. In 2005, on Face The Nation, he maligned our troops again. He said to Bob Shieffer at the time, "There is no reason that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children, you know, women." He was also the highest ranking American politician who was an apologist for Syrian president Assad. Yes, the same guy who wiped out over 40,000 of his own people in just the past year. John F. Kerry is fake, phony and back-stabbing fraud.
  • Something we have not been hearing during all these fiscal cliff negotiations. The U.S. is still borrowing almost $4B a day.
  • We have just experienced 4 straight years of over $1T deficits. In 2007, when W was president, the deficit was $162B.

  • Have you noticed an interesting phenomena? Every time a Lefty is losing a debate with a conservative, they resort to calling the conservative a racist. Yet, they are blind to their own racism. For example, regarding the criticism of Susan Rice and Benghanzi, a writer for The American Prospect, wrote: "...a handful of old white senators---one of whom who hails from the cradle of the Confederacy...launch hysterical and dishonest attacks...on a well-qualified African-American women." The Washington Post---in their editorial---made a similar charge even referring to the "Confederacy." And congressmen and women like John Lewis actually charged that Republicans wanted to go back to the days of Jim Crow. The fact is they are the ones who bring up race all the time. They're obsessed with it.
  • Wishing all a very Merry Christmas. And say a prayers for our troops especially those still in Afghanistan.
