Will America Tolerate Bold-Faced Liars Again?

Biden is sitting in for Obama in the Oval Office, because someone has to be ignoring the morning briefings...WH Press Secretary (satire)

Pres. Obama over the years:

---Said he wasn't referring to ISIS when he called the terrorists a JV Team

---We've doubled the distance our cars will go on a gallon of gas.

---The "Fast and Furious" program was begun under the previous administration.

---Not even a "smidgen" of corruption {in the IRS}

---My red line in Syria would be the use of chemical weapons.

---We excluded lobbyists from policy making jobs.

---We revealed to the American people exactly what we understood at the time. {re: blaming a video on the attack on our consulate in Benghazi}.

---Every statement defining the Iran Deal.

---Transparency and the rule of law will be the touchstones of this presidency.

---The average family will save $2500 a year (referring to....

---Obamacare....The big lie).

The above are just a "smidgen" of lies told by the Obama administration over the last 7+ years.

Hillary Clinton over the years:

---Actually, I've been very consistent (yes, consistent in lying)

---She was under sniper fire in Bosnia.

---She was dead broke when she and Bill Clinton left the White House.

---Everything she said regarding: Benghazi

---Almost everything she's said about her use of a private server and her email account.

Again, the above is just a sampling of the lies told by Hillary Clinton over the years.

So a question arises at least in my mind.  How do so many Obama and Clinton voters reconcile their support for such bold-faced liars?  I'm sure the perception that most politicians are liars has a lot to do with it.  But that alone cannot account for this phenomena. After all, almost every poll taken shows most Americans don't believe Clinton and find her untrustworthy.

No, the reason for her popularity is actually quite simple. Many Americans are in denial. Just as many are delusional. And more are just plain stupid.

Postscript:  And since this was posted, we had the Benghazi Report and Comey's report substantiating Hillary Clinton is a pathological liar.
