The outrage against this president is now more palpable than ever. Yesterday the WH announced Pres. Obama would not be attending the funeral of the last Justice Anthony Scalia.
I don't know about you. But this decision is yet another example of this administration---like the actions of Hillary Clinton---flipping America the bird. In this case, he's also flipping the bird to one of the nations most honored institutions. In short, it's a disgrace. It's contemptible. It's dishonorable. It's disrespectful.
But it should surprise no one. Keep in mind. This is the same president who scolded the entire Supreme Court at his first State of the Union Address. Make no mistake. Just as his public scolding was political so is his skipping Scalia's funeral.
After the death of former Chief Justice Rehnquist in 2005, then Pres. G.W. Bush gave the eulogy. That's what presidents are expected to do.
There is absolutely no justification for Mr. Obama not attending Scalia's funeral.
